There have been a couple of Marvel vs. DC crossovers. It's been seven years since the last one. Now, while this is no confirmation, it is possible for another Marvel vs. DC crossover.

While at Comic-Con, recently promoted C.B. Cebulski was asked at the Marvel Mondo Panel on Thursday if we can expect a Marvel vs. DC Crossover in the future. Cebulski's answered for the panel by stating that Marvel would be more than willing to do it again, and that the ball is in DC's court. He then tasked the room to extend that challenge back out to DC in Marvel's name. DC has yet to respond.

Could we actually see another Marvel vs. DC event?

Corndog, I think that was the whole purpose of it. To let the fans decide who wins. Marvel vs DC was a popularity contest.

I think that's why Marvel is so eager to do it again. They know they would win again.

Ditto to CorndogBurglar, although it was kind of cool that they did that at least once.

Man, Cap and Hulk should have one the first time around, although I'll accept the argument that Batman won because he was in his element. I guess I'll also accept that smart Hulk didn't get mad enough to beat Superman.

Conversely, Wonder Woman and Superboy probably should have won.

excellent news,match ups i want to see.

1.deadpool vs the green lantern or deathstroke
2.quicksilver vs the flash
3.the sentry,the hulk,silver surfer or thor vs superman (bring sentry back from the dead.)
4.vison vs the red tornado
5.apocalyspe vs darkseid
6.hawkeye vs green arrow
7.wolverine,deadpool or captain america vs batman
8.ms.marvel vs powergirl

i'm gonna stop there because i could go on for ages.

I'm not so sure about this. How could they possibly top the Amalgam universe? Would this be going back to a JLA/Avengers-type story?

A videogame would be incredible, though. Or even a film, but that's probably impossible...

i got called out on another forum for wanting a crossover where the heroes would fuse with each other - little did i know, i guess they already did that! :(

Hopefully it will be better this time around.

Some of the battles were SO messed up. I was really dissappointed with the Wolverine one especially.

The fights was the way it should. Superman should've put down Thor waaay more easily than he did.
Bats, Supes and GL is almost invincible. They are in fact untouchable. The prime icons of superheroes.
I am sure a lot of Marvel fanboys will attack me on this one, so please; go ahead and try!

Your just wrong, and your obvious bias toward DC characters negates whatever tiny bit of legitimacy your statements may have had.

Thor and Superman are very evenly matched. Especially these days.

Batman can be defeated by one bullet to the face or in fact by anybody with any superpower whatsoever who has half a brain. Untouchable my arse. The ONLY reason Batman wins is because of the rule "Batman always wins"

GL can be defeated by Wolverine easily - as long as he wears the yellow spandex (substitute for any lame ass hero/villain wearing yellow).

Superman can be defeated easily, besides the obvious kryptonite, by putting him in a room which duplicates the light properties of a red sun (not difficult, just getting him into the room might be - but not impossible). Thor should beat Superman fairly easily anyway - if Superman is vulnerable to magic then one of Thor's magic lightning bolts should have the same effect on him as it does on us or toads: ding-ding... zzzzap... smoking crater where Superman was standing. Win.

Who wins is decided by who the writer picks to win - that's it.

Thanks for all of these SDCC comic book news updates Destroyer! I've been so focused on the movie stuff, I missed stories like these! I'd love to see a crossover - Matt Fraction and Geoff Johns joked about doing an Iron Man/Green Lantern one recently which would be awesome! :)

Hey guys i have a good match-up... forget this batman vs. wolverine, batman vs cap stuff. if both combatants had ample planning time who would win in a hand to hand fight? gadgets allowed, but no guns or knives.

Nick Fury vs. Batman

LEEE: I had them bud, but lost them somewhere through the years. i also had The Superman Hulk battle from years and years ago but I can't seem to find a picture of that one anywhere. I've found pages from it but not the cover.

Yeah I had most of them, like TEEN TITANS VS X-MEN etc too, never had the HULK VS BATMAN one tho, still, got the reprinted trades, so we'll never lose the epic stories.

Damn still wish they completed the old AVENGERS VS JLA one, that would've been so sweet!

I wonder what happened to that big INDEPENDENT crossover that involved a huge amount of Independent companies, was really looking forward to that?!?

That Hulk/Batman one is the stupidest thing every. Batman is able to kick hulk in the stomach hard enough to get him to take a breath AND has a gas strong enough to knock him out? Um, NO.
