A limited edition Comic-Con poster depicting two very different generations of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been unveiled. On one side we have Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., returning for its second season, and on the other we have the upcoming Marvel's Agent Carter, starring Hayley Atwell. Check it out!

TV Guide just released the first look at a limited edition poster that will be available at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. The 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. meets Agent Carter' poster depicts two very different generations of the Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement Logistics Division, better known as S.H.I.E.L.D. On one side you have Clark Gregg's Phil Coulson, backed by his team, and on the other you have Hayley Atwell's Peggy Carter, one of the founding members of S.H.I.E.L.D., standing alone. This may mean something as to which direction Agent Carter may go when it premieres or it may just mean that Atwell's supporting cast has yet to be cast.

Anyways, it's still a pretty cool piece. The poster was designed by artist Matt Ferguson and will be available at SDCC free of charge. Be sure to pick it up if you attend!

It’s 1946, and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark.

Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films, as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. Coulson's team consists of Agent Grant Ward, highly trained in combat and espionage; Agent Melinda May, expert pilot and martial artist; Agent Leo Fitz, brilliant engineer; and Agent Jemma Simmons, genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker, Skye.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns September 23.
Agent Carter premieres January 2015.

@Doopie
I think it'll happen eventually, if Peggy started investigating some of Hydra's experimental projects she could easily get sent forward.

do howling commandos show up on AC?

@Doopie

Time travel? Hopefully not. It's better they use a revelation about the past in AoS midseason finale, and then explore that event during Agent Carter's run. It doesn't have to have Peggy and Coulson in the same room together to feel connected.

Agent Carter is Marvel's version of Gotham. Both of them sound awful.

I'm not sure if I'm interested in the Agent Carter show. I'm guessing it takes place after Cap was frozen

I wonder if Hank Pym will be mentioned

ABC should drop AOS and give Agent Carter a full season pickup instead.

The truth hurts TheRealRemy. The Agent Carter one shot blew every single hour long episode of AOS out of the water as far as I'm concerned. If the series is similar to that, it's going to make AOS look like that JLA pilot NBC did in the early 90's.

Aos season 2 will suck even more than the first season. And ac will suck as well. Whats with giving characters tv shows that are not strong enough to carry the show. If coulson and company were string enough they would have been made main characters not supporting characters. The executives at abc must smoke alot of illegal substances to have greenlit aos season 2

I really want to be hyped for AOS season 2 and Agent Carter, but I just couldn't get into AOS. The cast, Clark Gregg and the Asian woman aside, were just plain irritating. I really wanted to like it, I really did...

Awesome poster!
So excited for Agent Carter. Peggy is one of the best female characters in the MCU, she's so bad ass. Love her!

I'm happy Skye has moved further back. They tried to put her front and center before, but FitzSimmons are way more interesting characters than her.

Last thing, I'm really happy for Hayley!
They really should've made her blonde and brought her back for TWS, but it's good they're bringing her back with her own show.

So, the only thing good the did in AoS, taking Ward out, it's been undone? I may just skip this season, which is probably the last.
