SDCC '14: Marvel Announce TV Panels For AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. And AGENT CARTER

There's no mention of Daredevil or any of the other Netflix shows that Marvel have in production, but they have confirmed today that both Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter will have a major presence at the annual event. Read on for details...

Unless we're in store for a lot of surprises, this is shaping up to be a pretty underwhelming Comic-Con. With no mention of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice in Warner Bros.' press release, confirmation from Disney that they're too busy shooting Star Wars Episode VII to bring it to Hall H and Sony bringing only a few smaller releases (meaning no The Amazing Spider-Man 3 or Sinister Six), fans are turning to Marvel for...something! Well, they've announced their television plans today, and the focus is very much on the second season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter

It's hard to imagine that we won't hear some sort of Daredevil and Netflix news during this panel, but the fact that it isn't mentioned means that there's one less thing for fans to get excited about. For now, we're just going to have to wait and see! What do you guys think?

Wondering what "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." have been up to all summer? To prepare for its fall return at the new time of 9:00 p.m. ET Tuesday nights, Comic-Con International will be hosting a panel with all your favorite agents to talk about "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." and "Marvel's Agent Carter"!

On Friday, July 25, prepare yourselves for the Marvel Television Presents panel, moderated by Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s Head of Television, which promises exciting news and fun surprises for fans! Join Jeph and “Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Executive Producers Jed Whedon, Maurissa Tancharoen and Jeffrey Bell, along with cast members Clark Gregg (Phil Coulson), Ming-Na Wen (Melinda May), Brett Dalton (Grant Ward), Chloe Bennet (Skye), Iain de Caestecker (Leo Fitz) and Elizabeth Henstridge (Jemma Simmons).

Plus, learn more about midseason series “Marvel’s Agent Carter” with Executive Producers Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas, Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely and Louis D’Esposito and series star Hayley Atwell (“Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger”), in this can’t miss Q&A panel that will take you behind the scenes and into the future of Marvel's live action television series.

Be in Ballroom 20 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. PT Friday, July 25, and check out an autograph session for “Marvel’s Agent Carter” preceding the panel from 1:00-2:00 p.m. PT at the Marvel Booth (#2329) on the Convention Floor. Plus, on Saturday, July 26, meet the “Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” cast and Executive Producers for an autograph session from 10:00-11:00am at the Marvel Booth (#2329).

And don't forget to check out Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. at its new time of 9:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday nights this fall to find out who you can trust, who you can't, and more on just what's going on with Coulson!

If they don't have Chole Bennet or Hayley Atwell flash the audience what's the point?

They'll show Cox as Daredevil in the costume at the end or something, no way they'll totally ignore it

Especially since the show's already shooting

We all know a D-Man show would just make everything else on t.v. look like an unholy waste of time.

You ever wonder if we'll confuse some folks with the new notification system? Like, for example if I were to say something like "rustytrombone4u" in a sentence..

Is there, like.. actually a user with that username who's going to get a message in their inbox and assume I'm hitting on 'em, and show up on the thread all "yyyyyyyeaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh, who wants dat rusty trombone? Which one of you motherf*ckers called me? Lickety, lickety, lick, lick. Me sucky sucky."

@ciph- The only thing I'm worried about is people would spam my inbox by repeatedly typing my name just to be annoying.

DAMN RIGHT, NOVA!! It'd be good to cross off at least one thing on my bucket list before I die. I need to fill it up with more shit, but here goes:

1) Headbutt a midget

2) Give Kristen Stewart the biggest sexual anti-climax of her life

3) Write an editorial on why the D-Man show is the best shit since headbutting midgets

I look forward to dying miserable and unfulfilled.

Couldn't care less for AoS. But I have high hopes for Agent Carter, that is if it's anything like the one shot because I really liked that.

They need to continue with those netflix series instead of Agent Carter and Agents of Shield. I seriously have no interest in either of those shows......
