I haven’t been on this site for a good 5-6 years with an account, I keep reading comments however and I see that the majority here are pretty much die hards of the MCU. Each DCEU article I visit is full of mockery towards BVS and SS, which I guess is the cool thing to do.
One thing you need to pay attention to is the fact that while mocking DC, they are now averaging the same money Internationally and more domestically, and this will not change in the next 2 movies, also their DCEU Alternative one off movies sounds fresh and exciting and to be honest, their directors confirmed are much more interesting than the Russos and Gunn!
I don’t see how a non-diehard fan of Marvel sees Dr. Strange, GOTG vol.2, Spider-man homecoming, Inhumans, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Defenders as success and not a step back? Can someone explain, I mean I haven’t been on board with phase 1 and 2 movies in some cases, but at least they were new and unexplored territories, I mean I am hyped for Black Panther and Infinity War, but that’s pretty much it.
Spider-man was a letdown, super formulaic, GOTG 2 was not funny at all, terrible 3rd act, jokes were flat and barely anyone smiled in the cinema (except kids), Strange was creepy weird and not in a good way!
Why are fans of the MCU not seeing, that to be good , you need to try other things too, jokes and basic plots will only get you so far ! Where is the Iron Man level of film making, where is the complexity of the Winter Soldier, the Avengers dialogue ?
Yall are cute bashing Snyder and DC, but Wan, Reeves, Jenkins, Sandberg, Whedon, O'Connor aren’t any random directors and know not only artsy , but action and cinematography as well. Justice League is plagued with fake rumors 24/7 and will still make 1 Billion and deliver the goodies to fans!
I think Aquaman will be a monster movie that many people are sleeping on, but when the 1st trailer hits, knees down, seen some pirate footage of the SDCC short promo and while LQ and short, it looked fresh and exciting.
So you can hate all you want, fact is DCEU has the nerve to experiment and is doing so!
P.S Guess who is writting your precious episode 9, i hope to see your critics once its gets 21 % on RT for being a total mess !
