Some of Fox's planned X-Men spinoffs may never see the light of day once the Disney deal begins to take effect, but for the time being, the studio is continuing to develop those mutant movies.  It seems X-Force has now entered pre-production, with an eye to commencing principal photography this October.

The film will feature "a Black Ops force of down and dirty mutant warriors who are far more ruthless than their X-Men counterparts," and now we know for sure who three of them will be.

That Hashtag Show has confirmed that Ryan Reynolds will reprise the role of Wade Wilson (of course), and he'll be joined by his Deadpool 2 cast-mates Josh Brolin (Cable) and Zazie Beetz (Domino). It remains to be seen if the likes of Shatterstar and Bedlam will also return, but we can probably expect at least a couple of new recruits one way or the other.

X-Force will be based off a script by Drew Goddard, who is also set to direct. The movie is expected to hit theaters next year.

I don’t think deadpool 2will be nearly as successful as the last, not that it needs to be, but a lacklustre box office here may slow down the development of of x-force. I hope I’m wrong; I want popular, but very good movies from these properties

@Ryguy88 - I dunno man, it’s been almost 3 months and ruthless still hasn’t escaped their bold box office prediction. I want no part in that...

But if I must, 70m opening weekend

Maybe it’s infinity war taking up all me excitement, but I’m not feeling this one nearly as much as he first 2 years ago.

Maybe it’s the fact I saw it with my girlfriend of 2 years that time, and she won’t be with me to watch this one.

Ryan Reynolds just visited México. He took a picture with his voice actor and took the bus in the main city. Awesome way to promote the film, everyone loves Deadpool here

Man, I’m really looking forward to this. It won’t be Avengers level obviously in terms of box office, but if done right this could be really great. An R-rated Avengers perhaps.

Makes sense she was such a smash hit with audiences during the test screenings and each new footage with Domino in it has only made her look better.

@TheRealMandarin - After seeing The Vision in the MCU, I know that an Archangel is possible who looks true to his appearance in the comic.

@TheRealMandarin - I would love for them to time travel back to the 80s at the end of Apoclapyse and grab Psyloke and Angel, bringing them to the present.

Wiht Angel is such a bad way, they can "work on him" and make him look like the comic archangel.

@StormXmen123 - it can work and since mutants age slower I can easily see them recruiting psylock and archsngle. Both could be possible vigilantes and with angel,that transformation got more"sinister" looking as his days went on. I don't think we will get him in a full on comic accurate suit but I do think his skin will be blue.

@TheRealMandarin - I just feel it would be so Deadpool to have them travel back in time to Apocalypse.

The last scene with Psylocke she is looking "evily" at them the turns and walks off. She turns the corner and Cable and Deadpool are waiting for her.

I do think they would get a comic accurate Archangel. The Apoclypse design was very close (minus the skin and helmet, and costume colouring). Assuming the rescue Angel from Apoclypse, they could use some future medical technology from Cable which adds cybernetics to him and turns him blue.

Anyway they do it, incorporate the Apoclpyse versions (I like Muun as Psylocke and the Angel actor is very good; he was on a soap in the uk and can act well), or have "Deadpool universe" versions. I really want Psyloke and Archangle in the film.
They bring unique power sets and fighting styles to the team, compared to the the guns of cable and domino.
