Earlier today, The Merc with a Mouth promised us that a "big, pink surprise" would be announced during during tonight's FX premiere of Deadpool, and now we know what he was yammering on about.

It's just been announced that 20th Century Fox and Mr. Pool (a.k.a. Ryan Reynolds) have begun a new partnership with the fundraising platform Omaze in support of Fu*k Cancer.

The partnership provides fans with a chance to receive an exclusive, custom-made pink Deadpool suit, and proceeds will benefit the work of Fu*k Cancer - the nonprofit dedicated to cancer prevention, early detection and providing support to those affected.

If I had the facebook, I'd "like" the shit out of that!

Lost my mom to cancer 25 years ago, and was myself a stage 4 patient almost 4 years ago. And that right there, true believers, is why I hate that first scene in GOTG. Going through chemo and radiation when that movie came out. Watching Meridith Quill die was beyond words.
