On the heels of yesterday's final trailer, Marvel Studios has released another TV spot for Deadpool and Wolverine, and while this one doesn't feature any big reveals, it does include quite a bit of new footage.

The promo spotlights more banter between Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) and Logan (Hugh Jackman), a shot of Dogpool leaping into The Merc With a Mouth's arms, and more. Right at the end, we also get an extended look at Deadpool in the TVA as he teases one of the agents about having a crush on him.

Spoilers ahead.

Speaking of the TVA, there is another TV spot doing the rounds (it was briefly online before the video was deleted) which confirms a recent rumor that Loki's Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku) will appear in the movie. This may add credence to reports that Owen Wilson's Mobius will also have a role.

We'll be sure to update if and when the spot finds its way online again, but for now, have a look at the officially-released promo and let us know what you think in the comments section.

The MPAA recently gave the movie an official R-rating for: "Strong bloody violence and language throughout, gore, and sexual references."

“Marvel Studios presents their most significant mistake to date - Deadpool & Wolverine," reads the new synopsis. "A listless Wade Wilson toils away in civilian life. His days as the morally flexible mercenary, Deadpool, behind him. When his homeworld faces an existential threat, Wade must reluctantly suit-up again with an even more reluctantlier... reluctanter? Reluctantest? He must convince a reluctant Wolverine to - F*ck. Synopses are so f*cking stupid.”

In addition to Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the title roles, Deadpool and Wolverine will see Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), Leslie Uggams (Blind Al), Rob Delaney (Peter), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead) And Shioli Kutsuna (Yukio) return as their respective characters, and they'll be joined by franchise newcomers Emma Corrin (The Crown) and Matthew Macfadyen (Succession), who will play a TV agent and Charles Xavier's evil counterpart, Cassandra Nova.

Shawn Levy directs Deadpool and Wolverine from a script by Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells.

The movie is set to open in U.S. & Canadian theaters on July 26, and will be available in IMAX, RealD 3D, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, Cinemark XD and premium screens everywhere. Will you be checking out Deadpool and Wolverine opening weekend? Let us know in the comments section.

I wish films would stop with the internet slang talk, it never works and ages poorly. It just makes you disconnect from the film's story.

@harryba11zack - This is out in less than a week. I'm pretty sure 'LFG' and "Let the man cook" won't have aged aged poorly by next friday, lol.

('lol' is internet slang meaning Laughing Out Loud. I'm not actually laughing out loud. My mouth is shut and I'm not even smiling. Laughing on the inside (LOTI) might be more accurate. Deep, deep on the inside. Somewhere.

Fun Fact: 'LOL' is probably older than you and is still in use)

Lame cameo reveal. It's only a spoiler if it's someone who matters. Stop it with the D-list cameos that no one cares about.

@SummersEssex - B-15 is an important character for the TVA lore. I get that she's a D-List character but her, Mobius, OB, and Sylvie are important parts to the TVA now.

@ObserverIO -
He doesn't have a team, it's a knock-off portal scene involving countless Deadpools coming through. It's spoiled in the trailer. A majority of them get killed off instantly as a gag.

@Scarilian - No other Marvel characters? Not even the one that was announced before they started shooting that everyone's forgotten?

As of the moment, cameos frankly don't interest me so haven't done much research into it. It feels tacky to sell a movie for your franchise with cameos from other franchises. NWH at least managed to build the characters but in Deadpool 3 they are just here for jokes. It has cameos, but done in jokey ways, some examples include:

• A video screen showing characters from the MCU including edited moments from different films with Deadpool inserted into them.
• Deadpool seeing Wolverine about to fight Hulk, but is thrown through a portal before the clash so we never see them fight.
• Sabertooth's fight with Wolverine being hyped up and then Wolverine instantly decapitates him.

You get the general idea.

@TheNewYorker @Scarilian-

So what you're both saying is that you don't actually know after all.

Seen it and its pretty much exactly that, cameos done in jokey ways. You have characters appear and they either die off in the scene they are introduced or do so little that it's barely worth acknowledging.
ObserverIO
ObserverIO - 7/26/2024, 4:22 AM
@Scarilian - Yeah I've seen it now too and he does have a team that nobody knew about with major surprises.
ObserverIO

@Scarilian - rumors don't count. Was Tom Cruise in it as Iron Man? No.

@Scarilian - Also you said

"He doesn't have a team, it's a knock-off portal scene involving countless Deadpools coming through."

You were wrong. So you didn't know because you were sure that there wasn't a team. That's what you knew. And now you know different.

@ObserverIO -
Tom Cruise as Iron Man was expected to be in 'Doctor Strange: Wanda Murders People for her Fake Kids' and despite them denying it, there was indeed concept art depicting a 'Superior Iron Man' who would have been part of the council as the one who created the Ultron Drones.

The knock-off portal scene did happen and Deadpool didn't have a team, he was brought into X-23's group and then instantly left them and didn't give a single frick about any of the members of that group including actively encouraging the death of one of their members.
ObserverIO
ObserverIO - 7/27/2024, 7:19 AM
@Scarilian - that's still a team. When you talk about the secret team in D&W everyone knows you're talking about that team.

Tom Cruise was rumored for D&W too, not heavily, but then neither was Tatum as Gambit for example. The heavy rumors were for Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart, Even the rumors for Halle Berry, Famke Jansen and James Marsden were much heavier than the rumors for Tatum or Cavill or Snipes or Evans.

Also, Tom Cruise was never in MoM even if it was true that he was going to be in. What we're talking about is what we know. Waht we know of a movie before it comes out. So if you're saying that we knew that Tom Cruise was in MoM, well we were wrong about that too, because we actually didn't know.

Even when something actually happened, like you could say that we knew about Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in NWH, but we didn't. We didn't know that for sure and that was part of the fervor. Until they revealed it in the movie nobody knew that.

ObserverIO - 7/27/2024, 7:23 AM
It's just ridiculous that you guys were complaining about the movie by saying that we knew everything about it before release and yet, now that it has been released, everyone's talking about all the surprises the movie held that nobody knew about.
