In the image above, from the
Doctor Strange prequel comic, we meet two more
Master of the Mystic Arts, Daniel Drumm and Tina Minoru. They're minor Marvel comics characters with ties to more well-known superheroes. In Daniel's case, he's the elder brother of Jericho Drumm aka
Doctor Voodoo, a powerful magician in his own right who at one point, replaced Strange as the
Sorcerer Supreme. Tina Minoru is the mother of
Niko Minoru, one of the main characters from Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona's
The Runaways. That's a project that Marvel has been trying to find the right spot to launch since Phase 1!
With these characters likely to appear in the Doctor Strange film, alongside their fellow Masters of the Mystic Art instructors, Wong and Kaesilius, could it be a sign that Brother Voodoo and The Runaways are coming down the pipeline?
