I'm sure it will do respectable numbers at the BO and with critics. It's following the Marvel formula of a redemption story. Probably earn around the same as Ant-Man.

@blackandyellow - $900 million dollars at the box office you mean? Wow you fanboys really are hypocrites.

@Ironbot - What the hell are you talking about? Ant-Man did around $600 million, which is what I expect from this.

Wouldn't it be trippy if he was looking at the many multiple alternate timelines of a single individual and could step between them physically!!!

I had almost no hype for this before comic con and now I'm counting down the days. Those shots of New York City have me completely floored

I was more excited for this when everything didn't look like a damn kaleidoscope. This looks meh, now.

What I missed?

Magic.

Everything looks so Inception/Matrix/Batman Begins.

Is it really just a coincidence that both of the last two comments trolling are almost verbatim the same?

@SomDonkus - Yes it's a coincidence that they're two different people. If you've been here long enough you'll know that it's not a coincidence that they're both assholes.

as an old-time Ditko fan, I'm routing for this movie and down with Cumberbatch - but agree with others that the Inception kaleidoscope look - a least what we've seen - is disappointing. Ditko's alternate dimensions were way weirder, crazier colors & shapes out of your nightmares. Even the iconic window design (which Ditko more or less stole from Eisner's Spirit) looks wrong: overly ornate, lacking the simple lines that made it cool.

I had zero interest in Dr. Strange before I saw the trailer. Now...I somehow have even less.
