Today, Marvel announced the launch of the Hero Acts initiative, which is a new campaign that will help raise funds for the children that need them the most. For every fan who uploads a photo of themselves in their favorite Marvel hero pose to Marvelstudiosheroacts.com, the studio will donate will donate $5 to Save the Children.

Benedict Cumberbatch provides more details in the video below, along with some new BTS footage from Doctor Strange, and an awesome shot of his own favorite hero pose.



Marvel’s Doctor Strange follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilising a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.

Doctor Strange hits theaters on November 4.

These kids are the future, and us old folks are doomed. That being said, these kids deal with more in a day than some of us do in a lifetime.
