Now, that Warner Bros.' DC supervillain adventure Suicide Squad is out in theaters worldwide, the countdown for Marvel Studios' next major tentpole Doctor Strange has officially begun.
We've already seen two spellbinding theatrical trailers for the upcoming Benedict Cumberbatch-starrer and now, we have our first TV spot featuring very little, if any, new footage, but still providing fans with an absolutely exhilarating look at the Scott Derrickson-directed film, which promises to open our minds and introduce all kinds of mystical realms previously unknown to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel’s Doctor Strange follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilising a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.
