Volla the Asgardian prophetess makes her way to Odin with a vile warning.

"When you catch sight of the fearsome thing that causes destruction, standing in a place of peace know that war is looming. However that war will be cut short. On account of those who will be saviors the war will be cut short. I fear Allfather that Asgard will not survive. But even when the ones who will be saviours are collected the war is nor won."

Thor overhears the prophetess and leaves for earth. He tells his fellow Avengers the disaster that is to come. They insist on helping, but Thor refuses. Attempting to convince them that he will make up for his past mistakes while he was king of Asgard. Flying into space he looks upon the earth in awe. A sense of peace falls upon Thor, longing for the older days when he fought alongside the Avengers.

He turns around and is immediately attacked by the annihilation wave. Falling down to the earth he rushed to Stark Tower. He Iron Man and Capt assemble all the Avengers. They valiantly battle, however in vain. Thor in trying to save as.many people as possible begins to cry in agony. Seeing people refuse his help in fear of him (because of his actions in War of the Worlds) and dying trying to escape. Heroes from all over the world come to help but are defeated by the Annihilation Wave. Then just before.the Avengers are defeated the Annihilation Wave ceases their attack. And leaves the vicinity of the earth.

Thinking back to the prophecy given to Odin Thor races back to Asgard, only to see it in ruins. He finds Sif badly beaten. He asks her what did this...she says "The Annihilation Wave". Thor takes Sif and flees to the Odin. Who says that just recently reinforcements from the Annihilation Wave came. Then Thanos appears. Making quick work of a battle weary Thor and Odin he makes his way to Odin's Weapons Chamber...and steals the Infinity Gauntlet. Thor seeing all this makes his way back to earth with Odin. Urging all the heroes to leave the planet with him knowing Thanos with Annihilous will return shortly. Most of the heroes refuse to leave earth behind. But some of the heroes decide to leave. Fearful of what lies in store, along with the fact of being seen as cowards by the heroes that choose to stay puts a sprain on the team.

AVENGERS who leave:
Spider-man
Hercules
Luke Cage
Wolverine
Iron Fist
Black Panther
Winter Soldier
She-Hulk

Thor then transports them all to the moon to think of a plan. They then team up with the Inhumans in an attempt to strengthen their numbers. Then the moon becomes the target of the Annihilation Wave lead by Annihilous. The Inhumans and the Avengers aside from Thor who briefly left the meeting are taken aboard a stolen Annihilation Wave ship. There they meet a special team comprised of the Universes finest heroes.

Annihilators:
Quasar
Silver Surfer
Gladiator
Nova
Beta Ray Bill
Ronan the Accuser
They use Bill's hammer to heal Odin as best they can, since knowing the situation knows Thanos has the Infinity Gauntlet and has conquered earth. They decide the only way to stop the Annihilation Wave is to defeat Thanos.

They then make their way back to earth prepared for their final battle against Thanos attacking him head on. Using their numbers to keep Thanos off balanced and unfocused works up to a point. They all then hear thunder and lightning. All the people who witness this scream for joy, knowing their salvation is near. The remaining Avengers, the Inhumans royal family, the Annihilators, along with Thor battle Thanos. The battle still quickly goes against them...until Odin arrives. While still weakened he along with the other heroes takes their stand against Thanos.

The battle commences once again. This time however Thanos cannot keep up with them any longer. He then questions why with the Infinity Gauntlet he has not defeated them yet. Odin declares "The Infinity Gauntlet is a physical manifestation of the Odin force. Even though one may wields it possess great power it is my power." With that distraction the Silver Surfer swipes the Infinity Gauntlet from Thanos' hand. With the threat over Odin puts on the Gauntlet and undoes everything done by Thanos and Annihilous. When asked about Annihilous Thor tells about his return to Asgard and how he and Balder both defeated him.

I would like to remind everyone that this is merely a summary of this particular story I've written. I hope you guys enjoy it. Until next time.
