The Flash:
The film would start with Barry Allen's accident, credits roll. The credits would be like a motion comic showing the Flash's exploits over the six months following. The film is set in Central City, although The Flash is known for defending Keystone City. During the film we learn Barry's motivation to become a forensic scientist stems from his mothers murder and his father taking the blame.The film's main Villain would be Captain Cold. The general plot would centre around The Flash’s relationship with Captain Cold as it becomes more personal until Captain Cold is ready to go for blood. They would have several conflicts during the film. The break down from being just a general crook to attempting to kill the Flash would be triggered by an E.M.P burst that The Flash inadvertently causes knocking off Leonard's sisters life support. She would be on life support from an accident caused when Captain Cold was trying to give himself powers using some of his own work and the notes of Dr.Victor Fries. After the E.M.P burst Trickster(Axel Walker) takes to the scene to rob a bank during the commotion. The Trickster would also be a Rogue that The Flash has previously encountered. The E.M.P pulse could also lead to some cool action scenes like a plane falling out the sky and Flash chasing it and vibrating it through a Bridge in to the river ala New 52 Flash Series, a good sequence to use at the end of a trailer. The end of the film would be a final conflict between the Barry and Leonard which results in the Flash winning, but Leonard's sister dying from lack of life support. He vows to get revenge and id carted off to Iron Heights penitentiary.I get that a lot of these ideas are from the New 52 Flash Series, but it really captivated me.

Watching Scott Pilgrim, I feel like Edgar and his editing crew would be perfect for the hyper kineticism and fast paced editing a Flash film would need.

Flash(Barry Allen): Alan Tudyk –He’s a good actor and has quite a similarity to Barry looks wise. He may be getting a bit old now though.He could bring a good few laughs whilst also being serious when necessary. The Flash would understand that it wasn't lightning that struck him. He would theorize that it was an extra-dimensional energy source that he refers to as "The Speed Force".
Costume: New 52 all the way.The lightning bolts would glow as he moves at super speed.A re-skin of the Tron Legacy suits would be a very good template to go on.
Captain Cold(Leonard Snart):Jason Flemyng-Another smaller actor who I think is talented and would do the role justice. He's palyed a few minor villains in X-Men:First Class and Kick-Ass to good effect. Again, I think I may have cast a bit old. He would have been taken down by the Flash several times in the previous six months. He would have cryo-kinesis, formerly using a "Freeze Gun". I think the sympathetic side to Leonard Snart should be played out. For instance refusing to kill police officers, because they are just doing they're job. He would have an "All about the score" mentality until the E.M.P burst sends him gunning for blood against the Flash.
Costume: Would be shown using a cross between the original parka look and the costume of the protagonist from Lost Planet. He would use a freeze ray. After gaining his powers he doesn’t need the protective costume, he then adopts his new 52 look.

After Leonard Snart gains powers he adopts a less restrictive costume that still resembles the old uniform.
Iris West: Emily Blunt-Someone that Marvel has been trying to get for a while. I think she has more than enough talent to do the role justice.
Trickster(Axel Walker): Dave Franco- I've enjoyed him in the few roles I've seen him in. He’s small enough to get away with using him in a smaller role and a talented enough actor to build upon in a sequel. Axel Walker is a delinquent genius who is only really out to cause trouble. Only appears as a small villain in the film mid way through taking advantage of the chaos caused by the E.M.P. He would appear in a sequel as part of the official “Rogues”. The Flash would have already had dealings with him prior to the film.
Costume: A clowinish hipster look. Spiked hair, blue war paint around the eyes, extremely baggy trousers, blue wife beater with a few yellow stripes.He uses a hover board similar to the one used by Harry Osborn in "Spider-Man 3" among other gadgets.
