Its been a really long journey but finally, the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice is only a few days away (March 25, 2016). In anticipation, I thought I'd create a fan-made pre-release trailer focusing on the imminent showdown between Batman and Superman. Its a heavy action focused edit set to the tune of Marathon from 300: Rise Of An Empire. After the Feb trailer, I thought there'll be no more trailers but I was proved wrong when a new 1 minute trailer was released with Gotham.
As I got done with the trailer, the embargo on critics for posting reviews of Batman v Superman was lifted. To the surprise of many, myself included, the reviews were highly negative, largely citing the same flaws as Snyder's Man Of Steel present in this one. While I wasn't a huge fan of Man Of Steel per se, I did find the movie good enough after having seen it in IMAX. As such, I'm most certainly going to be watching this one in theaters. In the end, a critic review is simply an opinion. Watch and decide for yourselves
I've tried playing around with the audio and footage a bit (though not that much). The idea was to create a trailer that would just feel epic. I hope what I've made makes for a decent entertaining 2 minute watch. Have a look.
