Not bad..but Sentry..worst character ever. I'd like to pretend I lived in a time when the Sentry never existed.

I must ask... why do people hate the Sentry? I guess he doesnt really fit with The Avengers but I once mentioned to a buddy that (as someone who works in psychiatry) the depictions of mental health in comics was poor. He gave me the Sentry trades and I was well impressed.

I think he's interesting. Though is the backlash against him related to his sudden appearance etc.???

The problem with him is he's just a Johnny-come-
lately Superman rip-off! At least that's how he
appears to me! He's kind of just too damm powerful
to be very interesting. He's just bland! He begs
the question...Why even...?

i think he would be a great sentry but for film,they would need to update the outfit a little.

@DDD- but is he not kind of a revisionost approach to Superman? I do think an interesting character in his own right- in the way Miracleman is. Having MM join the Avengers would also be a mistake. But as a character unto himself I think he is an interesting examination of the superhero archetype, a postmodern deconstucturing of the Superman mythos.

y'know i can actually see Brad Pitt as an agoraphobic schizophrenic!
not to mention that they look similar. watch the film Troy and you'll know what i'm talking about.

Brad Pitt would be a good Sentry...I don't really care either way for Sentry, if he makes an appearence I won't complain but I won't be crying if he never shows up either.

When I first seen Sentry, I really didnt like his character. Im sorry but when I read books he was involved I would ignore him but not the story. It was like he was going in one eye and out the other. Glad to see I wasn't the only person that disliked his character but I do agree that Brad Pitt does have the looks to play him

Pitt is a great actor but I doubt he would play this character but if he did it would be awesome and Sentry is one of the coolest super hero ever especially in Planet Hulk.

@Anil-Dude,Sentry is so f-ed up in that. I'm talking the original Sentry from The New Avengers book. Not the suicidal,evil creature from Siege. You say Superman can test him but not Thor? Not sure that makes sense. Yeah but you're right on the Siege Sentry. He's too powerful.
