Western productions of japanese properties are rarely up to the expectations of the fans. But recent times has taught us that if there is one place where we can find good representations, worthy of the source material, that place is in Fan Films. Well, the most recent entry to that "genre" is no exception to that rule. Dragon Ball: The Legendary Warrior gives us an eye candy look at the series as the past comes to haunt everyone's favorite(ish) Saiyan: Goku.

Check out the film below:

So, what did you guys think of the film? Did you like the darker tone, ou should it have a more colourful lighter frame like in the anime? Make sure to leave your comments below!

Looks......decent. But seriously...50 seconds of footage and a minute and a half of credits? GTFO lol that's cheap ever for a teaser.

@SpectacularJoSh - What caught my attention is that the vibe, looks and artwork are very on point for a live action. Obviously they didn't had enough money to do everything they wanted. But the overall scope makes me think IT IS possible to faithfully adapt this.

@SpectacularJoSh - If those people worked on it, they should be credited.

I would love to see a live action DBZ film. Just skip straight to the Cell or Frieza saga and you got yourself a great film.

This looks dope. I love the tone of this. Man I wish we could get a serious DB live-action film.

it looks cool, but I can't understand why people want something that's the exact opposite of the thing they enjoy. Dragon Ball isn't bleak and foreboding. It's bright and hopeful. It's a lot of fun. Isn't that what we like about it? I mean, you can take the movie seriously without making it something that vaguely resembles the source. If you take out the humor and add doom and gloom, it's not Dragon Ball any more.
