CYCLOPS: AN HOMAGE OF HONOR

@Magnus66 I would have put the XFactor suit in there but for 2 probs: it is not in the Marvel Heroes MMO so no blendable pic and I am not sure how that particular stage fits into the five stages the uniforms I did use represent: man, mutant, leader, hero, protector.

Cyclops pushes others as leader because he has been doing this from the beginning and has always understood that the X-Men MUST ALWAYS be better than the best they can be if they are to stand out and above as representatives of the best mutants can be to achieve as much peace as can be attained between normals and mutants.

As for the lose cannons, their breaking point must be found by any good leader to know when and how to best utilize them and what situations to not put them in to avoid them blowing up and making that peace a harder sell.

As far as control, no one know better the importance of power control than one who cannot control, without external means, Omega Level power. He knows the better control mutants have over their powers the less danger they will present in attempting to live peacefully among normals.

Cyclops will never EVER be called a Super Villain, period. It was the Avengers who pushed the issue, forcing hostilities, and, thus, leaving him no choice but to respond to preserve the small number of mutants remaining.

As for Xavier, he already has forgiven his son. He always does, because he always understands.

The Phoenix relishes the darker human emotions and, when in a human, releases them, thus causing the host to do things they never would do otherwise. Reread The Dark Phoenix Saga and any and every issue regarding the Phoenix Force.

Cyclops saw the Phoenix as a chance to undo what the real criminal villain did. The Scarlett Witch reduced mutants a near extinction level never imagined impossible. She did what The Sentinels, The Reavers, Bastion, Hodge, and so many others only hoped to do. Why shouldn't a leader seize a possible opportunity to bring his people back from the brink of extinction?

So, no matter how you try to spin it, the facts are irrefutable. Cyclops is a man, because he stands for what he believes in without shame. He is a mutant who wants what everyone wants, a peaceful life. He is a leader who understands what must be done and is willing to make the choices needed to do it. He is a hero who would gladly lay down his life for the dream of peace between mutants and humans. He is a protector defend mutant kind to his last breath and cross the line, if necessary, to make sure mutant kind never nears the brink of extinction again.

Cyclops is the greatest character in comics because he will do what's right even if it goes against everyone else.
