SO first off, Ezra Miller is our Flash, and so far....he's been proving me wrong about his ability to channel Barry Allen.
Given, I wish he looked more like THIS, but in terms of humor, and timing, and also acting range, he's actually been pretty solid.
And Kiersey Clemons is playing Iris West, not who i would've chosen in the roll, and obviously the racial cast was to keep in continuity with the current show, so if anything we can hope that she's a better actress and has better chemistry than the the CW's. She's certainly cuter.
And with WATCHMEN's Billy Crudup already reprising the roll of Barry's Father, the question is , who will portray Barry's Rogues Gallery?
Let's start with the Arch Nemesis of Arch Nemesis, REVERSE FLASH , played by Game of Thrones' Aiden Gillan as Eobard Thawn. For those who've seen any of his work know he could certainly play the roll of the Smooth operating and cunningly brilliant Eoabard, with a psychotic thirst for Barry's ruination. Just imagine him uttering the words "It was me Barry..."
With that out of the way, lets go onto the ACTUAL Rogues and start it off with Jai Courteny for Captain Boomerang, and there's really no need to change him. He was enjoyable in Suicide Squad, and always in character, and just needs a better movie where he can actually.......do something.
Let's start off with one
Lenard Snart, aka
Captain Cold, and leader of the Rogues, who will be played by
Jeffery Donovan from
Sicario and
Burn Notice. He's got the cool, and calculated, and also intense demenor to convey a Capt. Cold who could realistically be the Danny Ocean of these super criminals and make sense as their Ring Leader...as well as be a believable hitman/mercanary with charisma.
For Heat Wave, who would be a contrast to Cold's composed, cool demenor, I choose Vinnie Jones. For any who've seen him in anything other than Last Stand could know he could have good timing with Donovan and Ezra as FLash, and keep in mind that banter would have to be a LARGE part of this film.
For Mirror Master, I choose Damion Poitier as the classy yet menacing illusionist extraordinare with access to the most dangerous mirror-verse tech on the planet.
For the Trickster, I shit you not, Ken Joeng. Just let that sink in. I really can't pitch it any better than that concept by itself.
For Weather Wizard, i'm going a different route than the norm. Barry is basically an ultimate basement dweller hacker nerd slash scientist, so i thought what if Weather Wizard was the same, and the title was an online tag, further more, since it worked with the TOP and Copperhead, what if it was a Girl?
Basically all that to say, what if Weather Wizard was Aubery Plaza, who's already played a roll meant for a dude and killed it in LEGION. Just imagine her as some easily internet triggered meteorologist/scientist inventor , who's a blend of her character from Scott Pilgram, and a super thief by using her newly acquired ability to manipulate the climate.
Just imagine the wit and awkard reparte between her and Ezra as Barry.
(I know that's Knock out i couldn't find a proper gender-bent weather wizard)
Barry:"So your...the fantasia...sorcerer....person?"
Mardon:"I'm NOT a sorcerer!"
Barry:"Okay Sorceress-"
Mardon:"I'm not a Sorceress! I'm a Wizard."
Barry:"Kay."
And with that, we have my THE FLASH fancast which obviously don't have to be all in one movie but this was for the sake of casting other people in his U. What do you think?
