Giffy here! As I promised earlier this month, I would be posting two more fan casts after THE INVINCIBLE IRON MAN to round out the lead ups to September's THE AVENGERS. Here is arguably my most ambitious fan cast, THE MIGHTY THOR!

ALEXANDER SKARSGARD - THOR: Alexander Skarsgard is one of Hollywood's brightest young stars right now, and from the right look to being an exceptional actor I felt Skarskard was perfect.
KEIRA KNIGHTLEY - JANE FOSTER: Keira Knightley is a fine actress that seemed like a perfect fit to play Jane Foster.
MATT SMITH - LOKI: In fandom, Matt Smith has already earned respect and is a fan favorite now. Of all actors I couldn't really picture anyone else as Loki other than Matt Smith (and of course Tom Hiddleston).
VIN DIESEL - CARL "CRUSHER" CREEL/THE ABSORBING MAN: I will admit, I'm not a big fan of Vin Diesel, but I think he would do a good job as Creel.
HENRY SIMMONS - LUKE CAGE: In this story, Thor meets and befriends Luke Cage while abandoned on Earth. Henry Simmons has intensity and the warmth to be a perfect Luke.
JENNIFER CARPENTER - JESSICA JONES: I decided to put Jessica Jones in since she is Luke's love interest. Jennifer Carpenter would be the finest actress to play Jessica.
BRIAN BLESSED - ODIN: Brian Blessed not only looks the part of Odin, but he has the charisma of a god!
MIA FARROW - FRIGGA: As Thor's mother, I just thought Farrow would be fitting in the role.
RYAN McPARTLIN - CLAY QUARTERMAIN: S.H.I.E.L.D does have a presence in the story, so I decided to have Quartermain represent them here. I am tired of bringing in Maria Hill and Black Widow and wanted to bring in somebody new.
GINA CARANO - SIF: Sif needs to be an absolute kick ass female warrior, and after seeing Haywire I think Carano would be the best choice for Sif (besides Jaimie Alexander of course).
CHARLIE HUNNAM - FANDRAL: Charlie Hunnam was originally who I wanted to play Thor, but the height issue came to mind so I rethought it and cast Hunnam as Fandral. I actually now think Charlie fits Fandral better actually, and I would really like to see him in the role.
NICK FROST - VOLSTAGG: You might be thinking that Nick Frost as Volstagg is a terrible idea, but I strongly disagree. Sure, he may be short and fat but with camera tricks you can easily make him the tallest of The Warriors Three, and he is hilarious.
JANG DONG-GUN - HOGUN: I really liked Jang in The Warriors' Way, and he felt like an absolutely good choice to play Hogun.
EDGAR RAMIREZ - HEIMDALL: As the keeper of the gates of Asgard, I really thought Edgar Ramirez could pull off the part of Heimdall.
