'Fantastic Four' reboot fan cast with very little story!

I hate to let you all down, but, yes. This is only a fan cast for the actors and the classic comic book characters that in my opinon would be kick ass and would do amazing with the roles they would be given. Not praising my own work as I said before, this is only in my vision of what I would like to see be adapted.

As we all have recently found out a few months back, director Josh Trank well respected for the amazing found footage film he directed back in 2012, "Chronicle", was hired to helm Marvel's first families first reboot, and is set now to be produced by X-Men: First Class and Kick-Ass helmer, Matthew Vaughn. Now, these two together would be kick ass and should be treated as such with blockbuster actors and a proper script done right to go along with it. Now, as some may still say how First Class was very poorly done and pretty much botched whatever continuity the X-Men francise had left, you can't argue with the fact though that the first Kick-Ass was awesome, so I honestly have a lot of faith in this especially after that travesty known as "Rise of the Silver Surfer" is now dead and buried forever. So, without further adieu, I now present to you my pretty straight forward fan cast for Marvel comics' first family, the Fantastic Four!

What I would want to see be portrayed this time around on the big screen would be instead of seeing the same old thing just a second time around, I would proposition that instead what the studio do is just do what all the other Marvel merchandise is doing... mix it up a little! Yes, we go from the downright obvious The Amazing Spider-Man to The Avengers and so on and so forth. What I suggest though is to make the backstory of how these characters became who they are today by going the ultimate route as a fresh new take but still keep a lot of the important things in 616 continuity. That way we get a taste of both worlds instead of just saying that we're going to do that when in actuality we're just going to throw in minor things from the 616 universe and just keep the rest of the story arc going with ultimate, seriously, we all know how The Amazing Spider-Man is going to end! But, again I digress.

THE FANTASTIC FOUR-
Dr. Reed Richards portrayed by Christian Bale (American Psycho, Flowers of War, The Dark Knight trilogy).
Susan Storm portrayed by Rachel McAdams (The Vow, The Notebook, Sherlock Holmes and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows).
Benjamin Grimm portrayed by Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy, Blade II, Hellboy and Hellboy II: The Golden Army).
Johnny Storm portrayed by Charlie Hunnam (also from Sons of Anarchy, Pacific Rim, Green Street Hooligans).

THE MAIN BADDIES-
Victor Von Doom portrayed by Benedict Cumberbatch (Star Trek Into Darkness, The Hobbit series, Sherlock).
Harvey Rupert Elder portrayed by Danny Woodburn (Ninja Turtles, Watchmen, Seinfield, Mirror Mirror).

AND...

H.E.R.B.I.E. voiced by either Simon Pegg or Seth MacFarlane!

I should explain why I chose these choices for these roles, well, for Bale it is quite easy because I find that in my opinion he has really become something worth casting in a lead role in the film industry, and I thought that playing the exact opposite of what would have been given to him during his time as the caped crusader would have been a fun and interesting thing to see. For McAdams it is pretty easy, with her magnitizing smile and her hypnotizing eyes, she would of course be good eye candy for the film to have more of a better audience seeing as she is a talented young actress, also on that note I didn't want this Susan Storm to be as exploited as a sex symbol as Jessica Alba's take on the role was, now don't get me wrong some of her scenes led to some pretty hysterical reactions, but I digress. I wanted her character to be seen as much more than what she appears. Now, if I even have to explain my choice for Perlman, I will literally become comatose. Hell, I even put a pic of Perlman as Hellboy in there to symbolize why I casted him. I was fairly hesitant on Hunnam as Johnny, now don't get me wrong he's an amazing actor but I thought that he would bring more of a dramatic element instead of a comedic one, but seeing as how he's one of my many favourite actors, I couldn't say no to this choice. It was just to perfect to let go based on my own biased description. Now, Cumberbatch in my opinion would be the absolute perfection for the role of the one and only king of Latveria, Dr. Doom! Aswell for Woodburn, I did more than just look at his stature. After hearing how he was being cast as Splinter in the upcoming Ninja Turtles reboot, I had to look into the guy seeing as how I remembered him from Watchmen, and honestly the guy is a freaking riot! Now I don't know much about the character, but I think that he could really bring more of a comedic but yet darker tone to the story.

Really not into this cast. Much as I love Bale, Perlman, Hunham, they're nowhere near what I would consider right for these roles. However, I have to agree that Cumberbatch would make an incredible Dr Doom. I'd love to see him as part of the MCU, and I think he'd be perfect for Doom or Ultron.

Nice cast! I doubt Bale would do it though. Get Anson Mount for this!

With the exception of your DOOM, no.

I think Cumberbatch would make a better Reed than Doom and certainly fits the role more than Bale. It seems like everyone casts him specifically as the villain ever since he was announced for Into Darkness but they forget he was Sherlock (a protagonist) before that.

Bale and Cumberpatch I might switch around. Bale wouldn't do it anyways.
