My take on a Back to the Future 4.

A fan's wish at seeing his childhood's favorite film being done again.
Here, I will lay out a short idea on what I think can work for a fourth film into the cult classic franchise, Back to the Future.

Back to the future

The year is 2015. Our main character is 17 year old Roy Avery. He is a just graduated student out of high school with an undetermined state of mind about his future. He lives with his parents and his uncle, his mom’s brother. His dad is a failed scientist who works for a science corporation as an assistance. He blames his failures on the day he lost the science fair to his high school nemesis back in the early 80’s. His uncle is a grown man child. He used to play baseball in high school but after missing to catch the final out during the championships in an embarrassing manner, he isolated himself from the sport. His mom is a very quiet and shy lady, despite from all the wild stories Roy hears his uncle tell about his mom from when she was young.

(the sneakers will already be invited in this story, heavy I know.)

One night after a fight with his girlfriend over deciding whether or not he wants to go to college, he witnesses a strange thing that will change his life. A ray of sonic blue light passes right before him and crashes near a tree. Out of the tree comes out a dog wearing some sort of technical device around his neck. He checks to see if the dog is alright and to his surprise the dog is not hurt. The device around the dog starts to beep and he goes to investigate what crashed into the tree. As he gets nearer the tree, the device starts to beep faster and when he reaches to the crash site, he sees the DeLorean. He enters the car with the dog and the doors automatically close and the engine turns on by itself. He panics, not knowing what to do and as the car starts to pick up speed he bumps is head and falls unconscious.

He wakes up to 80’s music thinking he is back in his house and that it was all a dream. But he wakes to find a strange old man in a Doctors gown over him treating his head wounds. He introduces himself as Doc Brown and tells him that the vehicle he entered is a time machine he invented. Afraid to test it first himself, he used his dog as the guinea pig and as an unfortunate mistake, it crashed and brought Roy to 1981 and now he has to wait in 1981 for the car to be fixed after some parts broke off in the crash. While his stay, he encounters some very familiar faces.

the back to the future car

This Doc is the 1955 version and tells Roy about his adventures with Marty. He tells him that he lived all through the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s fighting off temptation to not invent a time machine. But when the invention of the Delorean came out, he fell into temptation, bought the car and made the time machine.

Thanks for reading. Here's just some small, fun teaser, nothing legit just a funny commercial to activate your imagination, to make you think, what if they do make another one. I hope they do. Peace!!

@FriendlyJoShFest

i did put it in fan-fic but i think the editors on here now placed it on editorial. i don't know why.

and i agree with the both of you. the trilogy is perfect as is and doesn't need a fourth, it just doesn't hurt to hope and imagine for one. they're sooo good that i get selfish for more.

Back to the Future is my favorite movie of all time. There is no way in hell anyone should touch that property now. Hollywood, please resist and leave it alone!
