My Terminator fanfic: Part 4

Hey guys, it's The Hero!

Sorry I haven't posted Part 4, I've been a bit busy with school and life lately that I forgot to write the next part. But luckily, it's all winding down. So, where am I with this. Well, I'm completed Part 4 and I'm currently working on Parts 5 and 6 as we speak. I'm also trying to come up with a title name. Terminator: Evolution? Terminator: Reborn? Or what about T3: The film that should've been made?

Without a further to do, TheHero presents Part 4:

EXT. Pescadero State Hospital

Fortified with a white-coated gate, the prison layer brick by brick with windows on the first building. Between the first and the second building, a large hallway is present complete with bars on the window. It seems more like a prison than hospital.

Int. Kyle's Cell

Inside two men are present. One of them is a war-weary young man doing push-ups on the ground, while the other is a fat blob sitting on the bed reading a magazine.

Outside the cell a doctor comes by with several of his colleagues. The doctor is Dr. Peter Silberman. Not the old, bald doctor from the second film but more or so the psychologist from the first film. He seems a bit more idealistic, peppy so to say.

Silberman (O.S)

So, in this block we have two patients. The first is a 29 year old arsonist James Burman. Mr. Burman has multiple felonies including murder. This patient ironically has ADHD and a couple of other well-know diseases. Throw in a mix of dissociative identity disorder, and he's a child.

The second patient is a 30 year old male with post-tramatic stress disorder combined with depression and anxiety.

One of the colleagues raises his hand.

Has this patient been in combat?

Now this is where it's gets weird. The patient believes that he was sent from the year 2029 to protect a young woman named Sarah Connor from a futuristic cyborg known as a...(hesitates for a second) Hmmm.....what was it called?

We move toward a CLOSE-UP toward Kyle. He looks similar to the Reese in the '84 film. Young, tired, war-weary. Silberman moves closer to the cell, pressing a intercom button.

Silberman (now remembering it):

A yes, a terminator. (to Reese) Thank you.

(To both Burman and Reese) Good morning, gentlemen.

CU: On Kyle's exhausted face

Reese (to Silberman)

Morning, Dr. Silverman. By the way, how's the arm?

Silberman slowly backs away from the cell.

Silberman (to his colleagues):

He, ummm.....stabbed me in the arm with a pen.

Silverman goes back to the intercom.

So, you boys, ready for your medicine?

Burman grins happily.

Burman: I am Mr. Silverman.

At this, Kyle lands on his bunk and looks up at the ceiling.

Kyle (not really caring):

Yeah, I guess so.

Int. Hallway-Day

Silverman (V.O)

Okay. Steve will be there in a minute.

As the group walks away, a colleague raises his hand.

Colleague #2 (curious):

Why is the second patient being apathetic? Shouldn't he be protesting?

Well when he arrived, Kyle was in protest. He created battles with the guards, attempted to escape, heck, he even almost murdered a guard.

But then, after a few months or so, Reese just stopped caring. I couldn't tell if was an act or not, so I kept him here. So far, Mr. Reese takes his medication and mostly acts like an ordinary person.

Int. Reese's Cell-Day

The two inmates are laying on their beds when the cell opens. Suddenly, two male of nurses come in with a tray.

Kyle gets up to greet them.

Kyle (to the guards):

Hey guys.......

WHAM! One of the guards smack Kyle in the gut with a baton.

James (screaming):

One of the guards shoot a fierce look.

Guard #1 (demanding):

Shut up, Piggy.

James stand down with a crying noise only a dog would do.

The second guard picks up the injured Kyle. Kyle then starts to struggle from the guard's grasp but fails. The first guard opens Reese's mouth and puts in a handful of pills. After that, he pours a jug of water and makes him shallow it.

Guard #1 (to Reese):

Enjoy your medicine.

He and Guard #2 walk out laughing, leaving the injured solider from the future on the floor.
