My Thoughts on the Venom Spin-Off

Now, the Venom spin-off film can go many different ways. It could be a reboot, or it could link to Spider-Man 3. I recently had an idea for the film. This has been mentioned many times before, but when Harry gets hit with a pumpkin bomb, he gets scarred. I think that when Spider-Man hit Eddie with the pumpkin bomb he was sent backwards, instead of dying. He could've grabbed onto one of the ledges and climbs down later. Now, It's possible, but not likely. But, hey, it's my idea. As for the opening, do the usual thing for the Spider-Man movies, just change the music to what was playing when Eddie first transformed into Venom and have scenes from Spider-Man 3 significant to Venom. After, the opening, show that Eddie was sent backwards and held onto a ledge (like I said before). Then cut to Eddie walking down the street, narrating (of course). He then enters a phyciatrist's office. The phyciatrist's name is shown as Ann Weying. She talks to a man there (Bruce Campbell) and he leaves after Eddie shows up. Eddie talks about Spider-Man, Venom, and Gwen Stacey. He keeps mentioning that he believes the Venom symbiote is still around. Cut to Dr. Connors' lab. If you've read my Spider-Man 4 story, you know that I want Lizard in it. Well, you hear a yell and a tail knocks down the symbiote, in which it crawls out the window. Cut to Eddie entering an apartment. He sits down on his bed and sighs. He turns on the television. It's on the news. It talks about a theif named Cletus Kassidy that escaped from prison. Eddie comments on how he gets his money, stealing. The next day, Eddie is trying to find a job after being fired at the Daily Bugle in Spider-Man 3. He does something wrong at every job and gets fired from each. Eddie then remembers Cletus Kassidy and his remark on how Kassidy got his money. He then decides to rob a bank. The robbery doesn't go well, and Eddie is arrested by the police. Strangely, Cletus Kassidy is his cell mate. Cletus asks him how he got in. Eddie replies that he tried to rob a bank. Kassidy says he killed three people on the highway. Eddie has a worried expression on his face and sarcastically says, "Good for you." Over time, Kassidy becomes amazed at Eddie's stories about Venom. Kassidy asks Eddie what it felt like having the symbiote and Eddie replies, "Powerful." Cut to night-time. Eddie is sleeping, then a noise wakes him. He looks around and sees the symbiote crawl under the cell door. He yells, "Yes!" and Kassidy wakes up. Kassidy stares in awe as Eddie turns into Venom. Venom breaks out and Kassidy sneaks off. Venom swings around the city, looking for Peter. He sees him walking down the street, but decides to leave him alone, for now anyway. You see a red symbiote come off the Venom symbiote. It crawls off. Cut to Kassidy, running from the cops. He hides in an alley, but the cops soon come. Kassidy sees the red symbiote and smiles. He holds out his hand and the symbiote crawls onto him and forms Carnage. He turns toward the cops and laughs. The cops run off, and Kassidy states, "Yes! We'll reak glourious carnage throughout the land!" and laughs. He soon realizes that the only threat to him is Eddie. He decides to get rid of him. Venom swings into his apartment and the symbiote crawls off him. Eddie turns on the news. He sees Carnage out in the city. Eddie frowns and the symbiote crawls back on him. He swings out to fight Carnage. Venom swings in and kicks Carnage. Carnage flips and lands on his feet. His symbiote comes off to reveal his face. Carnage says, "Hello, Brock" and Eddie says, "I thought it was you." He then tries to tell Carnage that he can't harm innocent people. Carnage replies, "What about you? You tried to kill Spider-Man." Eddie then realizes that Carnage is right and that Peter only did that stuff because of the symbiote. Venom continues to fight Carnage. Carnage pins Venom down and changes his hand into a blade. He says, "Nighty-night!" and strikes. Venom moves his head and Carnage's hand gets stuck in the road. Venom gets a hand free and punches Carnage. Carnage shrieks. Venom remembers his own weakness and believes it is the same for Carnage. He leads him to the church. Venom says, "This is going to hurt" then he punches the bell. Both of them scream. Venom punches it again. And again. And again. Both symbiotes come off. Kassidy jumps down for it, but falls to the floor, presumed dead by Eddie. Eddie sighs. Cut to Eddie in his apartment. He goes to sleep. Then cut to a building. Venom is on the wall. Eddie wakes up and smiles. He swings around and narrates that he doesn't want to harm Peter any more and he can control the symbiote. He states that he will help the people of New York instead of harm them. The credits roll. After the credits, you see Kassidy's body on the floor of the church. He is alive and he gets up. The Carnage symbiote gets on Kassidy. The screen goes black and you hear laughter. "THE END?" is shown.
