Robert Rodrigiez's Troublemaker Studios is working fast as they plan on shooting Predators, their reboot of Predator on September 28th in Austin, Texas, where they are currently lensing Machete. Being helmed by Nimrod Antal (Vacancy), Bloody Disgusting has learned exclusively that they are currently seeking actors to play "Black", "Asian", "Russian" and "Latino" marines. Got to have some flavor in this "prequel."
In this version, a group of humans will find themselves stranded on a planet home to Predators and must survive the horrors they encounter. James Cameron pulled a similar move with his advancement of the Alien franchise in his Aliens.
Here is the cast that I would like. I've included the rumored ones 'cause I agree with them.
Michael Jai White for the Black Marine
Danny Trejo for the Latino Marine
Daniel Henney for the Asian Marine
and Peter Stormare as the Russian
