For those who have been following the Batman versus polls, thank you for the voting. These polls are meant to be entertaining and to strike curiosity as to how faithful fans of the dark knight really are. In response to one of the polls, it's now time for everyone's favorite merc with mouth to enter the DC universe. Following Batman's random attacks on the Marvel Universe, Deadpool decides he wants to see what lies on the other side. When Bruce finally finds the means to travel back to the DC Universe, Deadpool takes advantage of the opportunity and rushes through the portal, leaving Batman to find another way to get back. But will he come back to a whole bunch of insanity?

Wade enters the DC Universe and unlike Batman, decides he doesn't want to study any of his opponents. Instead, he arrives in Metropolis and plants that ugly mug of his on every screen in the city. He issues a challenge to all the heroes and villains alike to come take a shot at him, but decides to do it in a unique way...by doing it through a butt talk sequence (similar to Ace Ventura). Of course this annoys some people and so begins Deadpools quest to fight because he's bored in his universe.

Deadpool has fought many heroes and villains in the Marvel Universe and is a well known annoyance to most, but they also know he is not to be taken lightly. Before his Weapon X days, Wade served as a mercenary and was active in many countries until he contracted cancer and joined the Weapon X program. Wilson became a test subject in Department K’s branch of the joint U.S./Canadian superhuman enhancement project, the Weapon X Program; his cancer was temporarily arrested via the implantation of a healing factor derived from another Department K agent, the mutant adventurer Wolverine. Eventually, he was rejected from the Weapon X Program and sent to the Hospice, allegedly a government facility where failed superhuman operatives were treated. However, the Hospice’s patients served as experimental subjects for Doctor Killebrew and his sadistic assistant Ajax with the patients placing bets in a "deadpool" as to how long each subject would live. Taking the name Deadpool, Wade eventually escaped from the Hospice with his fellow patients.

From then on, he's been a mercenary, hero and just an all around nuisance to many people. He's faced many heroes, such as Cable, Wolverine, Daredevil and Spider-Man, as well as some A-list villains. Most people can only take his insanity for so long before they want to shoot themselves in the face but he is one guy you would like on your side (as long as he's not offered more money to turn on you). He is currently in the Uncanny X-Force after his multiple attempts to become a hero and join various teams (like the X-Men). The following battles will be quite interesting, but does Deadpool have what it takes to take on the DC Universe?

BIO:
Deadpool
"I always forget (or just black out to spare myself the agony) what Wilson's most lethal weapon is... his mouth! He'll talk nonsense until you surrender or commit suicide." --Domino
KEY POINTS: Regenerative healing factor; Telepathic immunity; Superhuman abilities; Master martial artist: has been shown fighting such amazingly skilled fighters as Wolverine and Taskmaster and even defeating them in hand to hand combat; Medium awareness: aware that he is fictional and in a comic book;

Booster Gold vs. Deadpool:
Booster Gold
7 Votes (16.28%)
Deadpool
36 Votes (83.72%)
Booster spots Deadpool chilling out in a park, but he's causing a panic because he's there, fully armed. Wade thought it would be a good idea to feed the ducks...then shoot at them for target practice. Wilson spots Booster Gold flying in for the attack, so when he gets close enough, Deadpool flips onto Booster's back like he's a surfboard and steers him into a tree. From that point, Wade disables the suit and takes Booster Gold's ring. He flies away and uses the ring to fly over a few swimming pools on the way to an Olive Garden.

Cassandra Cain vs. Deadpool:
Cassandra Cain
6 Votes (20.69%)
Deadpool
23 Votes (79.31%)
As a woman of many words, Cassandra swings in for the attack and nails Wade in the face with her boot. He pretends to be unconscious for a few seconds so she can get in close to investigate him. Cassandra removes his mask to find his disfigured face and at that moment, he sits up and kisses her. She's so disgusted, the starts pummeling him repeatedly in the face until she feels he is no longer recognizable (even by his standards). When Cain feels she has killed him, she regrets going so far, but all of a sudden she notices movement. Wade decides to pretend he's a zombie, that's come back from the dead and Cassandra starts to hurl batarangs at him. A few make contact and he breaks character to dodge them. When she realizes he's a nut job, she tries to take him down, so he can be delivered to Arkham. He refuses to go so he starts deflecting the batarangs with his swords, moves in and takes Cain down.

Catwoman vs. Deadpool:
Catwoman
3 Votes (10.71%)
Deadpool
25 Votes (89.29%)
From the moment he spots her moving rooftop to rooftop, Wade is in love. He starts to dream about a white picket fence, Selina in an apron and a litter of disfigured kittens. Wade chases Selina down and asks what she's doing. Unfortunately Catwoman's in the middle of a heist so Wade ends up botching it for her. Selina gets angry and swipes at him with her claws, ripping into his abdomen but Wade is almost unphased by it because he's too busy asking her personal questions about her life (her sign, hobbies, interests, if she likes unstable men). She starts getting overly annoyed with Wade and starts kicking the crap out of him, but you can't deter Deadpool when he has the hots for a woman. Eventually, she gets exhausted from beating up on Wade, she just doesn't have the energy anymore and passes out from exhaustion. Deadpool wonders why women always faint in his presences and chalks it up to being such a lady killer.

Cyborg vs. Deadpool:
Cyborg
5 Votes (19.23%)
Deadpool
21 Votes (80.77%)
When Wade spots Cyborg, he stoked to see his first transformer (so he thinks) and appreciates that they don't racially profile. He asks Vic if he personally knows Optimus and asks what he's like. Vic is very confused by this man and yells that he's not a transformer. But Wade doesn't believe him when he morphs his arm into a plasma cannon. Vic begins to fire it at Wade and he starts to believe he's a Decepticon. He figures, if he fights back, he will earn the respect of Autobots everywhere and starts making it rain bullets. While Vic is distracted from dodging gunfire, Deadpool moves in and starts to take Cyborg apart piece by piece until he is almost completely disassembled.

Dr. Fate vs. Deadpool:
Dr. Fate
14 Votes (42.42%)
Deadpool
19 Votes (57.58%)
Dr. Fate begins by trying to keep Wade in one spot by casting a spell, keeping him trapped in concrete from underneath, but Deadpool's not having it. After making some ridiculous remarks and asking Fate if he knows Harry Potter, he starts shooting the concrete away, while putting bullets into his feet. He manages to crawl out and while his feet heal, he fires at Dr. Fate. He starts to notice Kent can't concentrate very well with all the noise to he begins to throw grenades in various directions while mimicking the annoying sound from Dumb & Dumber. With Fate being distracted, he moves in and uses the blunt end of his sword to bang on Fate's head like a bell until he's forced to retreat.

Fire vs. Deadpool:
Fire
7 Votes (33.33%)
Deadpool
14 Votes (66.67%)
It takes a bit for Wade to focus here because all he sees is a naked, green woman on fire and can barely think of anything else. She unleashes fire attacks onto Wade, which just burns him to a crisp but doesn't slow the merc with a mouth very much. Instead of using firearms, Wade decides to head into the nearest building. When Beatriz follows, Wade, unloads a line of fire extinguishers on her until she is completely out. When she can't transform anymore, he lands one punch and knocks her out.

Firestorm vs. Deadpool:
Firestorm
13 Votes (50.0%)
Deadpool
13 Votes (50.0%)
When the battle begins, Deadpool starts to unleash a hail of gunfire onto Firestorm but Ronald alters the structure of the bullets to almost nothing. Firestorm then alters Wade's guns into rubber so he isn't able to use them anymore. When Wade pulls out his swords, Ronald changes the density of them to be so heavy, Wade falls flat on his face while leaping at him. When Wade realizes he can't use his normal means of fighting, he decides to take a different approach. Since this guy is altering the molecular structures and densities, Wade figures, if he's in his birthday suit, there's nothing he can alter so he strips down all the way. Firestorm looks at the naked, disfigured Deadpool and realizes he's just a nut job so he just takes off and leaves Wade sitting in the buff...

Deadpool.

Am I reading Dr. Fate wrong?

Is this saying that loud noises are Dr. Fate's downsides?:

"Loud Noise: impairs Kent's ability to 'hear' what the Helmet tells him, making it difficult for him to cast spells"

Deadpool is pretty loud.
