RESULTS: Deadpool vs. DC...Heroes: Part III

For these results, I would like to hear how you think each combatant won because, quite frankly, I'm a little stumped on some of these victories...

For those who have been following the Batman versus polls, thank you for the voting. These polls are meant to be entertaining and to strike curiosity as to how faithful fans of the dark knight really are. In response to one of the polls, it's now time for everyone's favorite merc with mouth to enter the DC universe. Following Batman's random attacks on the Marvel Universe, Deadpool decides he wants to see what lies on the other side. When Bruce finally finds the means to travel back to the DC Universe, Deadpool takes advantage of the opportunity and rushes through the portal, leaving Batman to find another way to get back. But will he come back to a whole bunch of insanity?

Wade enters the DC Universe and unlike Batman, decides he doesn't want to study any of his opponents. Instead, he arrives in Metropolis and plants that ugly mug of his on every screen in the city. He issues a challenge to all the heroes and villains alike to come take a shot at him, but decides to do it in a unique way...by doing it through a butt talk sequence (similar to Ace Ventura). Of course this annoys some people and so begins Deadpools quest to fight because he's bored in his universe.

Deadpool has fought many heroes and villains in the Marvel Universe and is a well known annoyance to most, but they also know he is not to be taken lightly. Before his Weapon X days, Wade served as a mercenary and was active in many countries until he contracted cancer and joined the Weapon X program. Wilson became a test subject in Department K’s branch of the joint U.S./Canadian superhuman enhancement project, the Weapon X Program; his cancer was temporarily arrested via the implantation of a healing factor derived from another Department K agent, the mutant adventurer Wolverine. Eventually, he was rejected from the Weapon X Program and sent to the Hospice, allegedly a government facility where failed superhuman operatives were treated. However, the Hospice’s patients served as experimental subjects for Doctor Killebrew and his sadistic assistant Ajax with the patients placing bets in a "deadpool" as to how long each subject would live. Taking the name Deadpool, Wade eventually escaped from the Hospice with his fellow patients.

From then on, he's been a mercenary, hero and just an all around nuisance to many people. He's faced many heroes, such as Cable, Wolverine, Daredevil and Spider-Man, as well as some A-list villains. Most people can only take his insanity for so long before they want to shoot themselves in the face but he is one guy you would like on your side (as long as he's not offered more money to turn on you). He is currently in the Uncanny X-Force after his multiple attempts to become a hero and join various teams (like the X-Men). The following battles will be quite interesting, but does Deadpool have what it takes to take on the DC Universe?

People on this site seriously underestimate the Flash and WAY overestimate Deadpool. How could Deadpool even attack something moving at over the speed of light?! Those of you who point out Deadpool's healing factor, seem to neglect the Flash's as well.

Let's see who I'd take, man who has a healing factor and uses guns and swords, or man who has healing factor and runs AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT?

Deadpool.

I highly doubt that if the Flash was incinerated his speed would help him "heal", and Deadpool not only has a healing factor, Death won't let him die.

Flash has been known to time travel and run past the speed of light. If Flash collided into Deadpool at a fraction of the speed, the force alone would disintegrate him

But You're pitting a Marvel character against DC. Of Course the Marvel character is going to win....There is a strong bias in this site

@ fsucsu - If he was Venom-Pool or Galactus' herald, he probably would win, but this is plain ol' Deadpool. I have to be semi-bias since I did the poll, but in all actuality, if he get's beaten, its not like its permanent. He could get either disintegrated or cut to pieces and that would leave him beaten because he will have to pull himself back together and that will take time. I'm a huge fan of Deadpool, but I know he can't win everything. I think all the lanterns would destroy him, but he will put up a fight. But again, I have no control.

@ Superman17 - that's not necessarily true. There are a lot of DC fans as well. Not too long ago I did Batman vs. Marvel and he was beating characters he shouldn't have (Like Colossus for example), so in my opinion its 50/50.

Batman always wins, contradictorily similar to how Deadpool always wins.

THAT is a big word.

true, but neither SHOULD always win...

@ SillySteve - I agree, but the fans spoke so I have no control over what happened...

You obviously have poll bias when you stack one character against a bunch of other characters as it is likely to attract that characters fans and logic often goes out the door. The Green Lanterns and Flash would own Deadpool.

Also, heros who cannot die (Wolverine, DP should be taken out and shot). Okay, that would not do much to them, but you get what I mean.

@ whoboy62 - I'm far from bias. DP is one of my top ten characters but even I know the Green Lanterns and the Flash could beat the merc w/a mouth. All I do is post the fights and the fans vote. I have no control over it...

lol I forgot that in Marvel, if you can annoy or irritate Death enough, she'll grant you immortality just as a restraining order against her. XD
