The Inhumans Fancast!

The Inhumans Fancast!

The Inhumans are a genetic offshoot of the Human race created by those meddling extraterrestrial Kree. I read a lot of the fancasts on this site, so don't be offended if I unintentionally "steal" your idea. It's a compliment! This Inhuman fancast WOULD go with my Fantastic Four fancast, though would not necessarily have the Inhumans be the focus of a Fantastic Four film.

The King of the Inhumans is Blackagar Boltagon, or more succinctly, Black Bolt. His merest whisper can demolish mountains, and his punch has staggered even the mighty Ben Grimm. CBM user Cataract suggested that I list why I thought my choices were valid in a comment he left on my F4 fancast, so I'll try that out.

Wentworth Miller

Around the fancast community, Wentworth Miller is arguably the most popular choice to play the King of the Inhumans. And I say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. For the role, I'd hope that he'd bulk up a bit, but if you watched Prison Break (seasons 1 and 2, the other two were a waste), you'd know that he can be very expressive with just his eyes and the lines around his mouth. Many a scene he sat brooding over a plan and we all sat enraptured. I would have to insist that they base the design around the 616 costume. If there's one thing that I didn't like about the Ultimate-verse, is was their handling of the Inhumans.

Black Bolt's wife takes her name from a creature of legend, a woman with snakes for hair. Instead of actual snakes (unless you're reading Ultimates) the Inhuman Queen, Medusa, has a head of fiery locks that obey her every mental command. From carrying her across town, shuffling cards, picking locks, or becoming high powered fans.

Yes, I know that people are going to point out the age difference between her and Miller. To them I say, "There's a man who voice can shatter mountains and a woman with living hair, but the most unrealistic thing you pick up on is the age gap?" I kid, of course, but still. Woll was a last minute choice for me. I was going to cast Alicia Witt as others have done before me, but I found Woll in my research and I liked her better for the part. I also had Christina Hendricks in mind, but her body type didn't really fit my idea of the character. Hey. I'm an eighteen year old guy and I love boobies as much as the next guy, but let's save her for later, no?

Medusa's sister and her have a lot in common. Fiery red locks, amazing powers, and a temporary membership with the world's greatest super quartet. Crystal, however is important because of her relationship with Johnny (see my Fantastic Four fancast). Her elemental powers make her a force of nature to be reckoned with, having even fought the Invisible Woman to a standstill (if I remember correctly).

Karen Gillan

I think that Karen is another original choice. If not, I haven't seen her around. I think that I can see her in that famous yellow outfit, as well as at her place in the Inhuman Royal Court, with Lockjaw by her side. She seems like the kind of actress who could play the uptight royalty, but the fun would really get started when she met Johnny and could let her hair down and have a good time. Not only that, but she can probably most definitely kick a little ass.

Karnak's Terrigen Mist inspired superpower is that he can see the weakness in anything. Just by looking at Johnny Storm, he discovered his center of gravity and flipped him. He can pinpoint weaknesses in the Invisible Woman's forcefields, and see the weakness in any plan. They should have had him watch the Fantastic Four movies to see what went wrong.

Luke Evans (no relation to Chris) is starring in this fall's Three Musketeers, so he's no stranger to action. Yes, he looks a little bit like Namor, but given the chance, he could also prove to be an excellent Karnak

CGI for Lockjaw

I figured that it was obvious, but you can't talk about the Inhumans without mentioning their teleporting dog. Not only does he have a fondness for the Fantastic Four's gruffest member, but he's also just plain awesome. But for the sake of not getting my arse handed to me, let's leave Lockjaw's Pet Avengers friends out of this one, huh?

Gorgon is the roughest, toughest Inhuman there is, arguably. His feet -scratch that- His hooves have the power to generate seismic waves and cause earthquakes, so keep him the hell away from your Etch-a-Sketches.

Adam Baldwin

as Gorgon

Let's face it. John Casey from Chuck is just a more situationally comedic version of Gorgon. Gorgon is basically a man who will do whatever it takes to get the job done. And if that means cracking a few skulls, then Gorgon's all for it. Baldwin has the physique and gruffness to play Gorgon.

Though Triton is Gorgon's brother, the Terrigen Mists effected them much differently. Gorgon became able to shake the very earth, while Triton became bound to the sea. In fact, he needs a special water apparatus to even be able to stay on land for extended periods of time

Luke Goss

Let's face it. I saw Luke Goss elsewhere and he looked very hydrodynamic. Triton is hard to cast as he'll be a mixture of makeup and CGI, but I'm thinking that he he could pull it off

Black Bolt's brother is as mad as they come. Well, in the Marvel Universe, probably not, but still. Maximus seals the Inhumans in a dome, that lets nothing in, not even air. So yeah, he's pretty nuts.

James Callis

I thought James Callis was original until I opened another fancast and saw his picture. He had a beard and I'd been staring at that fancast, didn't even know it was him. Doesn't make it any less of a good idea. If you watch his stint on Eureka, I think you'll know exactly what I mean.

Thanks for reading yet another fancast. For the most part, you were all really nice about the Fantastic Four one. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on this. Leave them in the usual place!

Nice job, but this is not a movie type cast, more like a tv show. It would do well though
