Who Will You Choose to be Earth's Mightiest Heroes?

Who Will You Choose to be Earth's Mightiest Heroes?

With all the speculation about actors and CBMs, who will you pick?

While we have established actors for certain roles already, Comic Book movies have teased us with rumors, speculation and possible ideas for future entries into the movie medium for some of our most beloved and appreciated characters from that most noble of media, comics. Here is the opportunity to voice your own thoughts (and even demands!) for what actor/actress deserves the role you chose. In my first article, the spotlight is of course....The Avengers movie.

Being two (or more)years down the road and two other movies to help set it up (Thor and Captain America), Marvel has ample ability to introduce, even in a secondary way, the characters that may become a part of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. I begin with the assumption that previous Marvel Studio heroes will already have a pre-purchased ticket to the big show, so I won't list Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, or Cap.

I myself have not speculated on a villain for this movie (just not enough data from Hulk and Iron Man I & II yet), so here also is your opportunity to throw upon us possible evil-doers and antagonists for our stalwart defenders to face and overcome.

So there it is. Bring to me your forgotten, underappreciated, and underrated actors. Let them be highlighted once again, even if only in a legion of fanboys and fangirls hearts (sure, you can pick popular actors, too). Perhaps your cries for justice for these benighted plebeians shall not fall on deaf ears, and of course.....

AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!!!

Let's dive in.
By the time The Avenger hits theaters, Marvel should have established at least a tentative roster for it by introducing to some degree characters that will have already appeared in existing movies (Black Widow in IM2) or upcoming flicks (various S.H.I.E.L.D. agents with special talents ripe for promotion in Captain America). So I envision (perhaps too hopefully) a decent roster for this film version of a super band.

As such, here are my nominations...

You can't have the Avengers without two of the founding members, who I envision to be a little older and experienced.

An up and coming S.H.I.E.L.D. agent with solid field experience under his belt, Clint Barton would be a shoe-in for this team.

I know Fox holds the rights to the X-Men and maybe mutants in general, but do we have to mention they're mutants in the movie?

This is just my hope that Ultron will be a major player. My page, my excuse.

Might not even have to be an Avenger, just an emotional foil for Hawkeye.

I don't think an Avengers movie is entirely complete without the Black Panther, and Ejiofor has impressed me so far with his roles.

Do we really need an excuse for another beautiful blonde? Other than she's also a B@D@$$!

Along with Cap, these are older more stable characters with heroic experience already under their belt that can really show the younger generation (even Tony) what it's all about.
And heck, either one could even be a great antagonist.

What do you think? Who would you change? Be kind to me it's my first time :D

I love Fillion.....but not as Sentry that is all Brad Pitt! Fillion should be Hank Pym. The women are all great as is Everyone else. It's funny cause Eric B. Was me and my Fathers(who is a Huge Namor Fan) choice for The Prince Of Atlantis.

Don't get me wrong... I like Brad Pitt, but I was also considering budget for the movie. I think Brad would do a good job, but Fillion is a bit more personable imo, and wouldn't charge Marvel Studios 20 mil to cast for what could be a secondary role.

Thx for the feedback though!

But what if Fillion got a role for Star Wars instead?

And the Namor pick was inspired by someone else on the site, who did a bad@ss photoshop pic. Can't remember who it was but kudos to them.
