Why Bruce Timm should produce and start The DC cinematic universe.

This guy has been around for so long and so well involved with WB on their animated projects. What should the next step be for him?

Bruce Timm is one of the most influential people in the DC enterainment world. He was the man to come up with Batman: TAS. His art style from then on has basically become what today to be the DCAU. So why wouldn't or shouldn't he take a step up in his influence. Below are 2 reasons why this oh so worshiped man should take a step up in The Warner Brothers/ DC Ranks.

1. Bruce Timm is in his own right a comic and animation artist. He has drawn almost every DC animated series quite a few of them as well. He has not only kept the integrity and grittiness of the DC universe in our shows making us crave more but with that style and direction it would translate well in live action DC movies. He finds every single character in the comics quite fascinating and intriguing and he's quite the nerd himself so that right there may bring a Joss Whedon element to the DcMu and that is having one of the head honchos knowing the source material and even recreating some of the source material in his own form and feeling very passionate about the charcters as individuals.

2. Bruce Timm has produced nearly every single Direct to DVD DC animated movie. From Doomsday to new Dark Knight returns parts 1 and 2. He has a knack for choosing great visual directors as well as Lead art directors Timm has proven to us that every project he produces is a faithful adaptation that will make the audience crave more of works of art like the previous project before it. Bruce Timm is a man whose shown that he doesn't just work for the pay which i'm sure is mad awesome but because he feels that each characters personality are all different but share a common trait in their personality and that is that they feel like outsiders even when doing what they feel is right may the character be Evil or Good. This thought, this idea would definetly translate well onto screen when Bruce Timm is there while the movies are in production. This flow of creativity would also inevitably get a justice league film off the ground and come into actual fruition finally making the DcMu a match and possible contender for the McU which right now is on it A game.

What do you guys think could Timm be the Joss Whedon for DC movies to come if given the chance or should he just stay in animation where he seems to shine quite often?

Not a bad idea, DC and WB definitely needs someone like him if they want to compete with what Marvel is doing.

Unfortunatley, WB has no DC film division. DC does not have creative control over its properties like Marvel does at Disney.
For anyone to do what Kevin Fiege has done at Marvel, they would first have to have that same creative freedom.
