Charlize Theron To Return For HUNTSMAN Spinoff & THE MUMMY Release Date Set

The Snow White and the Huntsman spinoff, Frank Darabont is directing, will bring back Charlize Theron but Kristen Stewart is out. They also have the release dates for it and The Mummy reboot.

Universal Pictures have decided to push back the released date on their reboot of The Mummy by two months in order to slot in Frank Darabont's The Huntsman, which is a spinoff to Rupert Sanders' Snow White and the Huntsman. So, that means The Mummy reboot will open in theaters June 24, 2016 and The Huntsman will open April 22, 2016.

The Huntsman will focus on Chris Hemsworth's role from the first film. The Hollywood Reporter have been told that Kristen Stewart  ("Twilight") will not appear in it, but surprisingly Charlize Theron ("Mad Max: Fury Road"), who played the evil witch, will return.

Good. Charlize was the best part of a "meh" movie.
Don't really know why this is getting a sequel. It was a decent, visually pleasing movie but I wouldn't say the Huntsan "stood out" and made you go "this guy needs his own movie"

O.o While i agree with Cherrybomb, i don't really understand on why you really need her in a sequel. This is obvious not an adaption of the classic story, just loosily based, so why not have some other vilan for the sequel that would make more sense and make it feel less... "cheap and redone"

Ive heard it may be a prequel perhaps? If so, them I'm sure in the first movie they referenced Ravena and her brother being responsible for the death of the Huntsman's wife.

If it's a sequel then I'm sure we'll have flashbacks of the death of his wife, and I can see it being just a small role for Charlize.

I never saw the original but I [frick]ing loved how it basically implied Stewart was suppose to be more beautiful than Theron.

Kristen is pretty when she makes an effort but she has nothing on Charlize.
She is literally the most gorgeous woman in the world.

Oh it was absolutely hilarious how they actually expected the audience to believe anyone would find Kristen Stewart more beautiful then Charlize Theron with her mouth breathing stare.

Now on this it really doesn't make any sense because Theron's character died at the end of the movie. So is it suppose to be a prequel or what that doesn't make any sense. Though I will agree Theron was far and away the best part of an overall meh movie. Chris Hemsworth was pretty good just not as good as Theron and of course Krsiten Stewart was just absolutely terrible.

@CherryBomb Kristen looks like she just wandered in to Chris and Charlize photo shoot in that picture. Hell Chris looks hotter than her . . . . . And am I the only one who thinks Kristen Stewart is slowly working on her new career as "The girl who was in those Twilight movies"?

Off topic but Charlize Theron would be a great Black Canary. I would love to see her and Josh Holloway playing off of each other. I think those two would be great together in a Green Arrow movie.

I like Charlize Theron, beautiful and talented actress. I think they should go for Enchantress, maybe Amber Heard for Enchantress.

They did the same thing with Maleficent where the girl they got to play Aurora is in fact pretty ugly she is not very cute at all.



Compared to Angelina Jolie I mean come on it isn't even close.
