I think this might surprise people. Momoa is great as a very similar character game Of Thrones.

I agree w/ RorMachine, I think this movie is going to be a surprising, unexpected bad ass. Momoa is not a bad actor & he fits the part for Conan pretty well. Also, all the pics & up to the latest trailer suggest that this may be a pretty good movie. I'm a huge fan of the original Arnold movie & i can't wait to see this one.

I already think he is pretty good. He did have a lot of actions scenes on Stargate Atlantis & his actoring wasnt'to bad either.

One thing that Arnold's verion lacked was action. To me it was just another medieval fantasy movie that moved with the pace of dripping molasses. This movie appears that it is going to be an all-out sword swining battlefest from what the posters are telling us. This is a bonus to the summer are far as I'm concerned.

Momoa is the epitome of Robert E. Howard's character in terms of his description and he resembles John Buscema and Ernie Chan's drawings a whole hell of a lot more than Arnold Schwarzenegger ever did. While I enjoyed the Schwarzenegger movies (campy as they were, especially the second one) I feel this movie will be good, may the naysayers be struck down by CROM!!!
