While the first 'teaser trailer' succeeded in it's intention: to tease, the folks at Yahoo Movies have debuted the theatrical trailer for the Marcus Nispel-directed remake Conan the Barbarian, unveiling tons of much-anticipated footage. Capturing the true 'Gritty' image of a Barbarian tale, check it out below!




Conan the Barbarian follows a young Cimmerian man cast adrift in the world by the brutal murder of his father and the destruction of his village. Driven by the need to avenge himself upon the evil Khalar Zym, Conan learns to steal, seduce, and fight his way to his goals. He soon discovers, however, that there are greater things at stake than his own personal quest: an unearthly malevolence stalks the world, Starring Jason Momoa, Stephen Lang, and Said Taghmaoui, the releases August 19, in 3D!

Looks AWESOME!!! Fantastic visuals, great action, fine Conan embodiment... I wanna see more blood in the cinema, but for now it's just fine! I always had faith on this movie.

I loved the smile on Stephen Lang's face when he dodged that spear, but how about we only have guitar riffs for movies that take place when guitar riffs actually exist.

Oneyed, sorry, it just takes me out of the movie. It sounds cheesy. When Rachel Nichols shouted "ConIn" in her yank accent towards the end it sounds ridiculous. Could you imagine Aragorn or Frodo walking around in LOTR with American accents?

Visuals (in terms of art design) look excellent. Oddly enough, the art design looks like it has a similar vibe to the MMORPG Age of Conan, which is no bad thing. If so, it's funny that a film would be influenced by an MMORPG!

Stop being so serious guys, this movie looks like good dumb fun, and there's nothing wrong with that!

I've said it a dozen times now, and I'll say it again: I think Jason Momoa would make an awesome Lobo. I wish that proposed movie hadn't fallen through... Thanks alot Guy Ritchie & Sherlock Holmes 2.

Okay, okay now It's catching my attention. Action and effects and style looks good, I'm just having a hard time fitting this guy as a Conan. They need to show him more and as a full body image, like ridding on the horse while he is traveling or sitting on a rock with a big sword looking saverage while resting from a long journey. Like Arnold sitting on his throne with the sword, that is a sick, unique image of a barbarian warrior.

theWorld It's 300's fault. Then Clash of the Titans dug it up again. And now, in true SyFy channel fashion, it will be used to give the illusion of hardcore edge- ironically, delivering first rate cheese.
