LE MAGICIEN D'OZ - TEST DE RENDU VO
Uploaded by Mister3ZE. - Full seasons and entire episodes online.

Bleed: Now I am left wondering whether we even need a retelling of the very classic original. Though the test footage interest me, I am waiting for this movie with a little skepticism. I think just the fact that they are attempting somewhat of a remake is what scares me!

How many Oz films are they making ?

This from Wikipedia :

* The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is a 2011 CGI film directed by John Boorman.

* Dark Oz is an upcoming adaptation of the Calibre Comics series, Oz. It is to be directed by Pearry Teo and star Pras Micheal

* The Witches of Oz is an upcoming film starring Sean Astin, Christopher Lloyd and Lance Henriksen. Based loosely upon the Oz series, the story is set in modern day New York. The grown Dorothy Gale, now a successful children's book author, learns that her popular books are based on repressed childhood memories.

* Surrender Dorothy is a The Wizard of Oz sequel set to be directed by Drew Barrymore. The project was first announced in 2002 with Barrymore set to star but it is unclear if she will be both directing and acting or if she will find a new lead.

* Oz, The Great and Powerful is set to be directed by Sam Raimi, and will tell the story of the wizard's arrival to Oz. Robert Downey Jr. is the frontrunner to play the title character.

* L. Frank Baum's the Wonderful Wizard of Oz is to be directed by Clayton Spinney and written by Sean Gates. It is a faithful adaption that combines live-action and CGI technology. Writer Sean Gates gave the tentative release date of 2012 in some form or fashion, though the date is subject to change.

Those are lot of Oz films in the coming years

Why are trying to milk this franchise in all of its various ways. Ok, why have a film where the story was repressed memories...I mean this is a long series of books and for all the time they had to make them, they failed.

@deadpool...How can you not have seen the original one its on TNT or TBS like every couple of weeks.

I always wonder how much opium these authors back in those days were on to write all this

@jim yeah the original was kind of a musical I would say, because I dont think the books had them singing We are off the see the Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

People tend to forget there are many stories of the land of Oz than just the original 1939 film

@LEE777-wasn't Twisted Souls a Clive Barker creation and McFarlane's company just produced the action figures? Can't remember. I have the entire set out in a storage shed somewhere, didn't really want to dig em out to double check.
