For a little while now, there's been speculation and comment on the upcoming 'Akira' live-action project (based on the 1988 masterpiece by Katsuhiro Otomo and the manga of the same name). A LOT of us fans feared that Hollywood would somehow pervert it by 'Americanizing' the plot. Well, it's MUCH worse than that...

Yeah, I said it – who wants some? In the comic books, Logan is the ultimate assassin, and yet the films have portrayed him as nothing more than redneck brawler with claws. When are the films going to do right by the man known as the Wolverine?
