New "Percy Jackson and The Olympians" Trailer

New "Percy Jackson and The Olympians" Trailer

I received a request to do a article about the Percy Jackson and The Olympians" movie coming out February 12 2010.

I can not remember the name of the fan who requested the article. It was a couple months ago that he made the request and honestly, there was nothing yet to report. In the unknown fan's email he said he took his family to the theater and said Uma Thurman, who is attached to "Percy Jackson and The Olympians" was there at the theater. They did not approach her because she looked like she did not want to be known. Which is why I say that was cool dude. Stars sometimes just want to go chill and hangout. Like we all get to do normally. It was cool that the unknown fan respected that. Sorry for the wait buddy. Here you go.

Greek Gods have been in Comics for ever. What do you the ComicBookMovie Fans think of this modern take on the Greek Gods hitting the big screen?

Cool!

So this is like a cross between HARRY POTTER and CLASH OF THE TITANS then??

By the way i don't like POTTER but this looks good!!!

Damn, WB should made a franchise of THE BOOKS OF MAGIC comics from Vertigo!!

I'm guessing this is also based on a book series from the rather long title???

Looks fun. Chris Columbus usually puts together decent enough movies

Thanks. That was me and my wife who ran into Uma. Turns out Uma only lives a few miles from us. The movie looks very cool.

@ Davidzuck, yes but its not based on oerseus from clash of the titans but the original Perseus from greek mythology like the one with the labyrinth and things, in the book his mum says she called him that because perseus never doed or something, i cant remember, ive read all of the books and they're awesome

Just got done reading this series, was much better than harry potter...just a more appealing topic to me. Read the books, they're sweet...can't wait for this movie!
After watching the trailer the characters look way to old compared to the book, so even though I am looking forward to it I just hope they don't kill it like Eragon, The Golden Compass, ect.

Im glad they have a new trailer out. The books were awesome. The reason they changed the ages is so people don't compare this to harry potter. And Fox did this not WB. He is 12 to 16 in books, 16 to 21 in movies. I am glad Columbus is directing this. He is good at starting franchises.

The preview's on the Borigin's disc... I don't really know anything about these books. I find Potter entertaining, but I don't watch them very often - kind of reminds me of when I was a kid. I enjoy the genre as a whole, and it seems like it could potentially be cool. Looks like they're really going after all the Gods, especially Greek, because special effects can now do them justice.
