If we could overlook the part that Sam Worthington is headlining Clash of the Titans... I think we could do the same with the non-persian Jake Gylenhaal for the Prince of Persia.

This will also be one thrill ride of a movie.

Actually, looking at this and at the trailer on "Appletrailers", it looks EXACTLY like the game. I've never been a fan of Jake's and i was the first one to bitch about him landing this role but he seems to have outdone himself, actually. Bruckheimer and Disney have put out great action packed films so i don't know why anyone's worried. It's not like they showed us any form of reason why we should be worried. It does look good and accurate to it's source material. It could be very enjoyable. It's also not like they're hyping this film to be more than it's supposed to be ;)

Bruckheimer used to be what Michael Bay is now-over the top action/no story. He seems to have learned how to balance the 2 and become a better director for it.

Hmm I dunno, still on the fence about this, I hate the fact that the video game is pretty graphic yet they're going to give us a PG-13 version. That's like a PG-13 Punisher, it's just not going to happen.

Stumblin- The first game "The Sands of Time" wasn't all that graffic. I think they captured the feel of the first game quite nicely. The film is obviously not meant to be as gritty as "Warrior Within" or "The Two Thrones".

Very true Shaman, I forgot that the first one wasn't that violent and it was still a hell of a game. I'll leave my judgment for this movie after I see it.

I think this movie looks sweet, they really caught the look and feel of POP, but the thing I don't get is they say this is a "first look" and the old trailer showed more then this one and all the footage that is in this trailer was in the old one.

Thanks Jacksinmybox! I live in the USA but I know a good beer, and it helps that I work for a beer distributor that happens to aslo distribute Guinness. If you don't like Guinness you're not a real man!

I'm really looking forward to Ryan Reynolds' portrayal of the Green Lantern and support him 100%; but before anyone was cast, Jake Gyllenhaal was my first choice for Hal Jordan after seeing how much he bulked up for this role.

true life, my goodness my Guinness. Though I can't say I drink it all the time, I'm more of a Sam Adams guy, but I enjoy a nice Guinness like some people enjoy a fine wine. As Cookie monster would say, "Guinness is a sometimes beer."

Any way, ever since I saw the way jake looked in the costume and how much he bulked up I've been pretty convinced that this would be a nice actioner. He might not be who I imagined playing the prince but he certainly seems to made it his own.

Stumblin- I mean, this film looks decent as game adaptations go but i also hope they go grittier for the sequel as the games do.

Guinness is like liquid steak I love the stuff, including my favorite Irish Car Bombs so delicious. I miss working in an Irish pub.
