Awesome!

I'm a big fan of the Sands of Time series.

I'm really stoked for this movie.

I posted an article a day or so ago about the new Sands of Time game coming out. It's going to be released the same time as the movie, but it's a mid-quel between Sands of Time and Warrior Within.

it does look better every time i see a new featurette, so i'm looking forward to it now. for those of you who havent seen the new game trailer:

I was one of the first to bitch the moment i knew they chose Jake as their leading man. But i am totally eating my words know!!! This movie looks EXACTLY like the "Sands of Time" game. And Jake seems to be pulling off an outstanding job! I think IT WILL be the new "Pirates of the Carribean"!!! Good call, SGA ;)

Will the new game be out on PS3??? Cause i'm flat out buyin' it!!!

I'm a HUGE fan of all of the Prince of Persia games (even when they went all emo a few years back, lol) so I'm looking forward to this movie - what I've seen so far looks pretty damned impressive as well!

Well this new game looks as awesome as my favorite one which was "Warrior Within". Can't wait to see more of it ;) But i really hope that they incorporate the Stealth Kill Abilities from Two Towers though. Those were AWESOME!!!

And THIS is what happens when they make a video-game movie with a blockbuster budget.

I admit I wasn't sold on Jake at first, but the trailer was great, and now this is even better. Can not wait.

I have a feeling Gyllenhaal will make it hard to enjoy the movie and take it seriously. Could've chosen someone who atleast pulled off a "Persian" look.

I had those same feeling ScorpioEagle1...at first glance I didnt think that Jake Gyllenhaal had the acting chops to pull off an epic story like Persia...but after seeing this video...well...I think it actually has a chance of being a well done VG adaption..did Persia ever have a comic book adaption???

Yes it was a comic. The creator of the game, Jordan Mechner, gave an interview October or November in 2008 to GameInformer magazine and talked about the challenges of translating the story into different mediums.

Mechner not only did the games, but wrote the story for the comics, and is the head screenwriter for this film.
