At the world premier of Guardians, Peter Serifinowicz revealed who he's playing as Denraian Saal. I'm going to go ahead and assume that's Garthan Saal, a guy who survived the destruction of Xandar in the comics and gained the power of the entire Nova Force and then became the villain Super Nova. If there's a Nova movie, I'd bet on him being the big bad.

Did Vin and Cooper do anything more than sit in the back? I know the focus is on the live action actors but that kind of seems a waste of time. But publicity is publicity, I suppose. And seeing those two will probably bring more people in.

Yeah, I'd much prefer them to remain separate with Gunn doing the overseeing of the cosmic stuff. I think Thanos will just be one of those characters that, like you said, is being developed in the cosmic before they move him into the rest of the MCU.

Maybe y'know, it made me think that maybe we'll see Garthan Saal actually be in league with Nebula and Ronan, almost like the HYDRA of the Nova Corps and that he wants them to destroy Xandar so he can get all the power. Obviously I'm not saying he hired them, but that they offered him power and he wanted it.

Great thing is, Marvel probably has Cooper and Diesel "locked-up" for possible other roles in the MCU...

Could see Cooper as Nova (Richard Rider)...

I guess the point of this "game show" is Marvel's way of educating people on their characters before they see the movie while simultaneously getting someone's kid on tv. Cause it's obvious she's just spitting out rehearsed answers.

About the only thing the Mia segment did was reveal Drax's human name and name drops MoonDragon which makes me wonder if either of those show up.

When you really think about the extent of Disney's ability to hype their own product, it's kind of scary. They have their own morning and late night talk shows via ABC. They have the Disney channel, the benefits of which are obvious. They have ESPN for cross-promotion with sporting events. And I'm sure I'm leaving out stuff.
