Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is 2017's next big superhero movie and writer and director James Gunn has taken to social media today to reveal the first of what promises to be a series of new behind the scenes images for the sequel. As you can see, the first focuses on Drax seemingly moments after defeating the Abilisk, a multi-dimensional being that the Guardians have been hired to fight.
This is a really cool shot and with a month to go until Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits US theaters, we can expect a variety of new photos which will hopefully drop some new reveals and clues.
Starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan, Michael Rooker, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, and Kurt Russell, the movie will be released on May 5th.
