Following yesterday's batch of character posters, Marvel has released a new extended TV spot for their next release, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which announces that tickets are officially now on sale.

Also, in a recent chat with Fandango, director James Gunn touched on the addition of Tango (Sylvester Stallone) & Cash (Kurt Russell) to his film and teased that Vol. 2 probably won't be the last we see of both of them in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
"This is definitely not a one-off [for them]. They’re both characters that we’ve taken a lot of time to develop, and they’re a big part of the MCU now." We already know Russell will be portraying Star-Lord's father Ego, but Stallone's role remains a mystery, although Gunn did tease just this past week that his character has a very important role in the larger Marvel Universe.

Check out the latest TV spot below:

Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 features:

so I get the marketing potential of Baby Groot, but doesnt Groot regrow his entire arm from between the time they're apprehended and when they get to the Kyln? and I get its a movie, but comic fans have parsed less.

Those are great news to hear. Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell sharing screen time as well for the first time is also something I don't think has ever happened. Botha actors in a movie, I mean.

Loved the new TV Spot.
