Zoe Saldana is known for keeping her Instagram followers up to date with the behind-the-scenes goings on of her latest projects, but it seems the Gamora star may have shared a little too much from the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 for Marvel Studios' liking!
Saldana recently posted a video of herself in Gamora make-up flicking through the script for James Gunn's threequel, and while we didn't get to see the original and no spoilers found their way online (that we know of), some significant plot details must have been visible on the pages.
The actress has now shared another video, revealing that she "Had to take this down before because of Marvel Security. Now that I covered what they don’t want you to see, let’s just focus on the Mate!"
Of course, the pages are censored this time, but some fans have been zooming in to see if they can decipher anything. Good luck!
GOTG Vol. 3 story details are still a closely guarded secret, but a few nuggets have been revealed over the past year or so. We do know that Gamora will be a big part of the movie, and a recent report indicated that her relationship with Nebula (Karen Gillan) is going to be the main focus. Of course, this Gamora is a Variant of the original who doesn't know any of her teammates, so we can probably expect a very different dynamic.
Saldana and Gillan will be joined by the returning Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Dave Bautista (Drax), Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Sean Gunn (Rocket/Kraglin), and Sylvester Stallone as Stakar Ogord/Starhawk, with Will Poulter on board as Adam Warlock and Peacemaker actor Chukwudi Iwuji in an undisclosed role.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is set to hit theaters on May 23, 2023.
