GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 Hot Toys Figure Reveals Rocket...And A Surprising Addition With Cosmo

Hot Toys has revealed its new Rocket Raccoon 1/6th scale figure, and it comes with the surprise addition of a Cosmo figure that means fans can bring these two beloved characters together in their collection.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is very much Rocket's movie, and we're pleased to now share a first look at Hot Toys' upcoming figure based on the character played by Sean Gunn and Bradley Cooper.

The head sculpt is a little disappointing if we're being honest, but the costume goes a long way in making up for that. It's also lacking in accessories to some extent, though the surprise addition of Cosmo (Maria Bakalova) is welcomed. Inevitably, that's going to jack up the price a little. The detailing on the telekinetic pooch is fantastic, though you'll notice the Soviet Union imagery is M.I.A.

Groot has already been revealed by Hot Toys, and we expect Star-Lord, Nebula, Mantis, and Drax to follow. As of now, it doesn't appear as if there are plans for figures featuring the likenesses of characters such as Kraglin, Adam Warlock, and The High Evolutionary.

Will you add Rocket and Cosmo to your Hot Toys collection?

In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, our beloved band of misfits are looking a bit different these days. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him to defend the universe along with protecting one of their own. A mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.

Gunn writes and directs Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter, and Maria Bakalova.

Kevin Feige is the producer and Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Simon Hatt, and Sara Smith serve as executive producers.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 arrives in theaters on May 5, 2023.

Haven't seen the movie yet, and probably won't get to until June at the earliest; so I have a potentially minor spoiler question for those who've seen it.

Do we ever learn how or why Cosmo ended up in The Collector's menagerie or is it never addressed?

@Feralwookiee - It's not addressed, though she does briefly talk about how she ended up in space!

I would never spend this kind of money on a statue. But if I ever were to do it, it would be for that very good girl.

I own three Hottoys collectibles. They detailing is phenomenal. But the price point is not for everyone. I highly recommend Iron Studios statues for those looking for a more affordable option for collecting these movie figures.

I have never bought a toy or statue from these or any movies, but if I ever did, it would be this one.
