Fourth Times a Charm...

Just in case you didn't have your fill of Milla Jovovich's zombie ass-kickery in the first 3 attempts, we now have confirmation of a fourth installment. To a crowd of paparrazi Jovovich said "We're going to start shooting at the end of the year." So reload and get ready for more angry zombies and nipple shots of Milla Jovovich, because that is after all the only reason you watched these movies right? Guess we'll just have to wait and see if they can breathe life into this "dead" series.

I liked the first one the most because it could be perceived as a prequel to the games, then the second took place during the games and added characters from it that should not have been involved creating a paradox even though I did enjoy the second one horrible looking Nemesis and all. The third film just steered so far from the source that I had to forget I was watching an RE movie just to enjoy it, and it is good if you don't compare it to the games oh and Ali Larter as Clair was horrible casting, she is nothing like the Clair I know from the games.

But I digress, I'm up for a fourth I'll just have to go in forgetting I'm going in to an RE movie

I love Jill Valentine... They need to put her in this film...because its not like their following any of the games anymore...Its kinda like "meh"...winging it.

**Spoiler to Resident Evil 5***

They brought Jill valentine back at the end of part 5....i didnt even know that until a friend told me the ending.

I will say that Residents Evil has been the only decent video game that has been turned into a movie. But three is enough. Her Best work was when she played Joan of Arc!!!!!!!

I like these movies but I have a hard time including them in the "zombie" genre anymore. I like that tagline they used for the original Resident Evil game: Survival Horror. I'm from Pittsburgh so I'm sort of a purist as far as my zombie flicks are concerned.

I never really played these games, so I look at these solely as a Movie Franchise.

1st One - Awesome!!! Seriously a great horror/action flick.

2nd One - Eh.

3rd One - Can't say anything bad because my cousin is in it! :-D
