With the world now aware of his dual life as the armored superhero Iron Man, billionaire inventor Tony Stark faces pressure from the government, the press, and the public to share his technology with the military. Unwilling to let go of his invention, Stark, along with Pepper Potts, and James "Rhodey" Rhodes at his side, must forge new alliances - and confront powerful enemies.

This clip can be found on the DVD & Blu-Ray editions of Iron Man 2, which is set to be released on September 28th in the US and on October 25th in the UK.

Thanks LEE...but why the hell aren't you pimping your awesome Green Lantern cast!? :P Totally agree with you about Cheadle though. Been a fan of his since I saw him in the brilliant Reign Over Me and Iron Man 2 definitely helped me get over that dodgy cockney accent from Oceans 11, lol!

josh@ are you telling me don cheadle's accent and language wasnt accurate? it seemed pretty accurate to me since i couldnt understand a word of it :)

good fine. i too felt cheadle was an upgrade from terrance howard who basically was bland.

LEE: He wasnt that bad in those movies...just a little over the top I thought! And good luck with that - I think you need to use concrete to make sure those bloody things stay in the ground, lol!

deadpool72: Yeah, I cant disagree with you on that one...I thought it was a good movie but it definitely dragged in places. I blame it on them trying to cram too much into just one movie. I just hope that whole storyline about the reactor in Tony's chest killing him ends up having some significance in future because it was quite pointless when you think back.

R888: I hope not! He's a great character but has no place on the team IMO! I'd be ok with a cameo though I guess!

superdog: Lol, cheers bud! I guess it was pretty accurate but it was a little over the top as well...sort of like if Sawyer in Lost started talking with an even stronger southern accent! And Cheadle was most definitely a step up from Howard, who was decent in the role IMO, but nowhere near as impressive.

Didn't like this scene at all actually, very anticlimactic. And although I did like Cheadle as Rhodey, I think a War Machine is probably the last character I would want in a spin off movie! I mean don't get me wrong, if they made it obviously I'd watch it, there are just so many other characters i would want first.

So many of these side characters would make a good TV show...

War Machine would make a good TV show or TV movie type deal... Like how they use to do.

Once or twice a year they use to make Mini-Series for TV or cable.

I bet a 6 hour 3 part series on HBO or Showtime would be awsome.

Well said ROR. :)

vonstallin: Personally, I'd love to see Marvel make a 12 part series like Band of Brothers based on The Invaders...add in a cameo from Evans, Stan and Weaving in the last epsiode and it would be EPIC! Good idea about doing the same thing with War Machine though. S.H.I.E.L.D would also be perfect for some sort of miniseries.

that would be cool if they made the armor for them to wear on set, i honestly didnt think it was all CGI, although i know there are some scenes where the armor is partially CGI and partially really on the actor.

No way was it bad, it just wasn't as good as I expected it to be considering the CBM track record with second movies(as in they tend to always out do the first one) and the quality of the first one. A bit more focus on the villains and some re shuffling of scenes as well as a MUCH stronger ending and it would have been great. Maybe a directors cut will show it in a different light.

Sweet. Cheadle was great as Rhodey. And IM2 wasnt that bad. I agree that the best action scenes are that final sequence with Tony and Rhodey, the race track and Black Widow fight.
I´m going to pre-order my regular double disc dvd this friday

I had really high expectations for this one, and even though I saw it 3 times in the theater I was kind of let down by the finished product. Certain aspects of the movie were dead on i felt but a lot got lost in bantering and awkward scenes like the fight between Stark and Rhodey. I'm still gonna buy this though, haha.

@weneedrevelation

Jamie Foxx is an interesting choice, but don't you think having 2 Rhodey's in as many movies is distracting enough? I mean could you imagine them actually recasting a character twice? Oh wait...
ironknight
ironknight - 9/15/2010, 6:08 PM
I think I would have liked Foxx just fine, but at this point, seeing as they have already changed the actor for Rhodey once, I think Cheadle should stay. I thought he did a good job anyway. He should've been there from the start, instead of Howard.
