I loved her in this flic too. Her action scene is one of the best choreographed and most smoothly performed I can think of in a long time. I literally pulled back in my seat at how explosively awesome she was in the costume kicking ass! And the costume... [frick] all you studios who think a characters costume can't be adapted onscreen, even the red hourglass on the belt buckle was there. Awesome.

@TheMyth: I totally agree with you! I thought ScaJo did an excellent job, both as Natalie Rushman and as the Black Widow. Her showing up Happy Hogan (twice) was priceless!

Yeah i thought both of these two were cool!

People b1tch about them but who they should really be b1tching about is SLJ playing SLJ playing SHAFT from 10 years ago with an eye patch!!!

Man FURY sucked! : D

Weakest and most boring character in the whole movie!

I really really hope we never get a S.H.I.E.L.D movie!!

If we do, we need it done right!

Brent, indeed she did rock! I forgot to give Gwen her praise too. This is actually the first time in a film I've seen her and actually said, "Wow, this girl can act!" I always thought her to be a lil' bit, I dunno, stiff? Not the case here, her chemistry with RDJ is just plain magic! I was thoroughly impressed by this film. I'm dying for some Thor action.

I loved both of them so much. Pepper was great and Natasha was so kick-ass and they both looked gorgeous.

And I know a lot of people won't agree with me but I so want Black Widow to be part of The Avengers (the movie, I mean) I think it'd be nice to have her in there :')

guys i said the same thing. I thought both did an awsome job, espically scarjo. I know alot of people were complaining before the movie was released about her not having a russian accent. I did like the scene where she told tony in latin drive yourself home or i'll have you picked up. During her fight scene i leaned over to my wife and said i want one, course she laughed and told me ok if they make a 12in scarjo doll of black widow you can have it. But this movie totally rocked. longer fight scenes and better ones then the first one.

@ marcolanni: i think the namor reference was near the ned of the movie. when stark goes into the shield debriefing room, there are 3 monitors with images on them: one of them sports the newsreport from the incredible hulk rampage at culver university, the other two have a map of earth with little shield emblems at certain points. i believe these points are locations of hero/villian meta humans. these points are la-iron man, new mexico- thor, north east seaboard-hulk, polar ice caps-cap, africa- black panther, germany- red skull, and the middle of the ocean- namor. i my self only saw a tattoo on the neck of someone that resembled the ten rings insignia

@ anil def a huge jump, but the locations of all seem to be more than coincidence. that whole scene had alot of connective tissue in it towards the rest of the universe.
@ marcolanni just read an interview w favreau, the ten rings ref is solid, its the guy who hands whiplash the tickets and passport to the race in america, look at his neck
