When the powerful Darkseid and his massive, relentless forces invade Earth, a group of previously unaligned super heroes – misunderstood and, in some cases, hunted by the authorities – discover the only way to fend off the attack will be to work together as a cohesive unit. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Shazam and, in his origin story, Cyborg combine their respective talents in an all-out battle to save the planet. Based on the 2012 graphic novel, “Justice League: Origin,” by Geoff Johns & Jim Lee, JUSTICE LEAGUE: WAR provides a glance into the world before the Justice League was created, and offers the initial animated incarnation of DC Entertainment’s “The New 52.”

Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment, Justice League: War features the voices of Jason O’Mara (Vegas, Terra Nova), Christopher Gorham (Covert Affairs), Justin Kirk (Weeds), Alan Tudyk (Suburgatory, Serenity, Firefly), Michelle Monaghan (Mission: Impossible III), Shemar Moore (Criminal Minds), Sean Astin (LOTR films), Bruce Thomas (Army of Darkness) and Steve Blum (Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox). Producer is James Tucker and director is Jay Oliva from a script by Heath Corson.

I like the DC to dvd flicks, but I am getting tired of the comic adaptations. How about some original stories DC? And start using some other characters. Bruce Timm said they keep making Superman and Batman movies because they're the ones that sell; well, if you'd MAKE some other movies maybe we could buy them. I loved the Wonder Woman movie, and the Crisis on two Earths one. Both Green Lantern movies were excellent.

I WANT AN AQUAMAN MOVIE. now. With the animation format there is no limit to the crazy aqua-shit you could pull off. Aquaman has the potential to be one of your best movies, if you'd find a great writer (ahem...over here) and a great animation house. Let's see it DC

This is the one area WB/DC gets completely right - animated movies. Even the few failures are actually still solid (I'm looking at you GL: First Flight).

@DrFate

WB did try to go beyond Superman and Batman with the films you mentioned and
guess what? They didn't sell in numbers anywhere near what Batman,Superman and Justice League do.

If WB is good at anything its making money and if they felt an Aquaman,
Wonder Woman or Animal man flick would make big bucks,they would have done so already.

Numbers don't lie and WB is not going to take that risk if the best thing fanboys can come up with is "Get a better writer/director next time"

Not saying don't make your views known,I'm just saying if you really want more DC stuff you got to keep buying Batman,Superman and Justice League DCAU product in record numbers.

That way,WB will feel confident enough to take the risk on a lesser property and not expect it to have to make as many sales because they know they always have the big guns to fall back on.

I will have this! I've been slacking on picking up the Best Buy versions with the figures. I missed the last two. I really want a Darkseid one, but I have a feeling it will be Shazam.
