JUSTICE SOCIETY: WWII Star Stana Katic On Possible Talia Al Ghul Return And Live-Action CBM Roles (Exclusive)

Talking to us about Justice Society: World War II, Stana Katic addresses the possibility of returning as Talia al Ghul or Lois Lane, while also expressing an interest in live-action comic book roles...

Justice Society: World War II arrives on streaming platforms on April 27th, 2021, and hits 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray and Blu-Ray on May 11th, 2021. This next entry in the DC Animated Universe sees The Flash thrust into the midst of an epic battle between Golden Age DC Super Heroes the Justice Society and Nazis for an adventure that definitely doesn't play out the way you might be expecting.

Stana Katic takes on the role of Wonder Woman in the animated blockbuster, and she's no stranger to the DC Universe. Katic voiced Lois Lane in Superman: Unbound and Talia al Ghul in Batman: Arkham City, with the latter really striking a chord with fans when the game was released in 2011.

So, is a return as one of those characters, or Diana Prince, something the actress would be open to?

"I would love to, and in a heartbeat, would perform any of those three any day. I absolutely love them," Katic enthused. "Talia was mysterious and powerful and sensual. Lois was whip-smart. She was such a badass and smartass. Wonder Woman, of course, is just epic."

As for live-action comic book movie roles, the Absentia star wouldn't name any specific characters, but would clearly love to tackle a project like that at some point.

"It’s tough to say, ‘Yes, I’d like to play this specific character.’ Absolutely, I’d love to, but it’s tough to be specific because so many of them are already occupied and people are doing wonderful jobs with them. I’d love to play in that world because I love doing my own stunts and I love that genre. I have watched that genre and world since childhood, and I think it would be a real blast to participate in something like that."

We'll have to wait and see, but for the time being, you should definitely make it a priority to check out what Stana does as Wonder Woman in Justice Society: World War II later this month.

Played Return to Arkham City recently. Still the best comic book game we've ever gotten. How they didn't make more than 1 sequel is so confusing to me.

@Waddles - I completely believe Lois would do that

I could see her as a live-action Talia al Ghul.

If they're not building up towards Court of Owls with The Batman, I'd want to see League of Assassins become major players in that world. Talia (and Damian eventually) included.
