I just re-watched Justice League: Doom and enjoyed it even more than when I first watched it back when it first came out in 2011.  The story was obviously heavily influenced by the Tower of Babel, but I think McDuffie did a great job of adapting certain aspects of the comic into a clear, coherent and entertaining plot.  This lead me to wonder how might DC Comics’ New 52 have been different if he was still alive.  Would he have handled the Static solo series?  Would it have been successful and launched solo series for other Milestone originals?  Would he have worked on the Justice League runs or JLA runs?  Would he have changed Trinity War or the Forever Evil storyline?  Would the Trinity War event happen at all?  I’m not attempting to suggest that The New 52 would be better or worse if Dwayne McDuffie was still alive, but I think these scenarios are worth thinking about when a talent like McDuffie is no longer with us.

Dwayne McDuffie is the real reason why Justice League and Justice League Unlimited was so great. He wrote majority and the best stories of the whole series.

This guy hasn't gotten the credit he deserves. Pople give all the credit to Bruce Timm, but this is the guy who deserves it more than him.

Stories from live action comic book movies and animated movies and series hasn't come close to touching McDuffie works. ONly series that have come close to it is the stories in Young Justice. Other than that nothing can top his stories.

IF only he was still alive.....
