Matthew Vaughn's KICK-ASS is the story of Dave Lizewski, a comic-book fanboy, decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. As any good superhero would, he chooses a new name — Kick-Ass — assembles a suit and mask to wear, and gets to work fighting crime. There’s only one problem standing in his way: Kick-Ass has absolutely no superpowers. His life is forever changed as he inspires a subculture of copy cats, is hunted by assorted violent and unpleasant characters, and meets up with a pair of crazed vigilantes, including an 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo, Hit Girl and her father, Big Daddy.



The film is scheduled to hit theaters April 16th, 2010.

Like I said...i figured BD was fashioned after bat man, lol thats sorta cool that a movie about fans fashion his outfit like one. The utlilty belt is straight off keatons batman outfit.

I love how this movie actually looks believable. Like, this is exactly what would happen if a guy dressed up and tried to fight crime. Really looking forward to it. I'll be promoting it around my friends.

@Hawks: Not gonna lie. I was really inspired by him at first. Now I'm a little worried he may be cult leader or something. If he's a scam artist, he wont last long here.

@Hawks - I think they are working hard for it because its an unknown quanity in a world of big names. I mean, they don`t have the name recognition of like, Iron Man right off the hop and they don`t want to end up looking low budget and desperate like Defendor or something.

I think it has potential, I could be wrong, but I think the hussle is because Kick-Ass is pretty obscure.
