When the Mother F*cker and his gang of villains attack Dave Lizewski (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) at his father's funeral. Mindy Macready/Hit-Girl (Chloë Grace Moretz) is knocked unconscious by a blast, that sends her body flying into a large cemetery monument. In the theatrical version, the next time we see Mindy is when she is in hot pursuit of the van containing Dave, who has been kidnapped. But in the storyboards below, we can see that Big Daddy's cameo would've appeared while Mindy was still recovering from the blast. At this point in the film, Mindy is still unsure if she should be a normal teenager like her step-father Marcus wants her to be, or the crime-fighting vigilante that her father raised. Surprisingly, Big Daddy encourages his daughter to choose her own path.

Big Daddy Returns: The Unshot Scene

Kick-Ass, Hit-Girl and Red Mist return for the follow-up to 2010's irreverent global hit: Kick-Ass 2. After Kick-Ass' (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) insane bravery inspires a new wave of self-made masked crusaders, led by the badass Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey), our hero joins them on patrol. When these amateur superheroes are hunted down by Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse)—reborn as The Mother F%&*^r—only the blade-wielding Hit-Girl (Chloë Grace Moretz) can prevent their annihilation.

KICK-ASS 2 directed & written by Jeff Wadlow; based on the comic book created by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.. The cast includes: Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chloë Moretz, Jim Carrey, Lyndsy Fonseca, Yancy Butler, Donald Faison, John Leguizamo, Lindy Booth and Olga Kurkulina.

I actually think that scene would have worked in the film. Shame they didn't use it.

So it would have been a dream like scene when she is almost killed.

I don't see why everyone hated this film. Yeah, it was unnecessary. Sure, it wasn't as good as the original. But it was still way better than 90% of the other movies released this summer. Personally, I really enjoyed it. It's probably 'cause I went into it with very low expectations. Hopefully they can figure out a way to get part 3 made. It'd be nice to see the trilogy get finished...but I'm not holding my breath.

@HeisenbergSaysRelax your right it was way better than a number of others this year. I didn't know there were haters for this, then again I'm usually surprised at a lot of the haters towards these kinds of movies, I've waited a long time to see sooo many comic book characters finally hit the big screen that I find the hating a real shame. Shit, even though the Green lantern let us down it was still a buzz to see some parts;)

I think the film needed a scene like this. Even if they had used old footage because Nick was busy.

@ImnotDaredevil Yeah, I caught a bit of Green Lantern on TV last night (the part where Hal first arrives on Oa and is learning to fly) and while the effects are kinda iffy, the scene is still really neat to watch. It wasn't that great of a movie but the fact that a character like Green Lantern, with such a large back story and a lack of familiarity with average people, was able to get a major motion picture is really awesome.

LOVED Kick Ass. Thought Kick Ass 2 was disappointing, but it was doomed from the start. The comic is nowhere near as good as the first. Think they should have skipped a few years to when Dave is in his early 20's and make him a badass! (which they kinda hinted towards at the very end of Kick Ass 2)
